I've just been next door in the London Suite, there is loads of parking in there which is basically used 9-5 Monday to Friday so maybe a deal could be struck there ??

As for the village it seems to be resident parking only, neither pub has a customer car park.

Regus may be open to a deal on parking at the London Suite

For those of us who travel by public transport it looks like the bus services are decent with a number of routes available

These include:-

Bus 7 Heathrow to Slough 15 minute frequency during the day.

Bus 423 Heathrow to Hounslow 20 minute frequency during the day.

Bus H51 Hotel Hopper 30 minute frequency during the day.

Also while not ideal for drivers, I am sure they will pass somewhere you can park.

The Heathrow Pod goes from level 2 of the T5 car park to the Thistle. The Thistle is very close. That assumes you arrive at T5 by train or are parking in a Heathrow park. I normally park in the pod parking when travelling on business. If you are spending the day there, long stay park? Or park in Sheraton across the road. The issue is that parking is controlled heavily as it's on the verge of the airport. It's a matter of find what works for you. If you want to park at the old venue, you can walk to the main road and get the no 7 and or 8 bus to T5 and them get pod to Thistle. .. Just relieved it's reopening.

So coming from 100 miles away I need to be able to park along side a lot of others who will drive a fair distance to get to the new venue as we did for the other kestrels.

Parking is as crucial as the club opening for some of us if we turn up an can’t easily park there is no point in going.

Sorry to sound negative but the car Parking is crucial as it was for the old venue.

Reading

We are the same for car parking. We come from Reading so a taxi would be stupidly expensive. And there's no real transport links to use. Plus public transport isn't that great when your dressed for a sexy evening and at the end of the night tired and exhausted, and don't want to worry about trains and busses not running.

So some kind of park and ride or local parking agreement would be welcome.

If it's useful we would happily pay up to a max of £20 for the convince of local parking for the night.

One of the advantages of the old Kestrels was that there was lots of parking space at the venue and in the street right outside. It made it practical to go after work on a weekday, have a few hours of fun and get home in time to get sufficient sleep for the next day's work.

For people asking about parking.

I just looked on google streewiew. That road has loads of parking bays which are free weekday evenings and all weekend.

And the single yellow lines can also be parked on evenings and Sundays.

It’s a long road with loads of spaces.

Don't take this in a negative way but a lot of those spaces require a residents parking permit, parking is not insurmountable at the venue

Over 20 spaces with less than a 2 minute walk are unrestricted. We can hold around 30.

The hotel car park next door is never full and for a fee is available.

We are investigating gaining extra space.

Most of the village is not residential parking.

Oh how lucky were we at Kestel to have it so ideal. Unfortunately we had to make a few compromises to get the club back.

"For people asking about parking.

We are lucky that you are willing to put the hard work and commitment in to opening this new club.

"Where will the new club be located?"

It’s located on the Bath Rd at Heathrow and is already being converted etc.
