We’ve never been to charms ourselves but are regular members of xtasia. Such a good club with lovely members of staff and great club facilities. The people who go are always lovely too. They hold some great and popular events that can be found under “swingers diary” on there webpage! Hope this helped x |

We are regulars at chams and love it. It’s a dress down club and very relaxed. Great steam/ sauna/ jacuzzi/ outdoor sun deck. Multiple playrooms, friendly bar area and nicely maintained. I’ve heard Xtasia is more clubby so I guess it just depend on what kind of place you want. Try them both! |

We are members of both and like them both as they are different, Xtasia is nightclub vibe with play rooms and dungeon, great staff and an expansion of their hot tub is planned. Chams is dress down so either a towel or sexy underwear or shorts for guys, a nice club with a good atmosphere, one we’ve only been to twice but plan to go again. |

Pretty much the daddy or chips question. I think it would be an injustice to say which one is better as they both offer something completely different.
The above comments have summarised both venues well and as they are different, you can enjoy them both equally depending on what type of night you want.
As a starter club, for a newbie, and a cross over from the vanilla nightclubs, then Xtasia can be a good first.
If you are a bit nervous for your first visits to the clubs, then we typically recommend Xtasia, as you dress up smart, smart-casual as if you’re going to a high street nightclub. A licensed bar and large dance floor with DJ. If you go on a Saturday then it’s couples/females only night in the club, but can visit Flirts pub at the front if you’re interested in single males, or fancy a pint and a game of pool in a traditional pub. They are two separate venues in the Xtasia private complex. Fridays is couples/females in Flirts and mixed in Xtasia. On both nights, couples can go back and forth. Both have play areas.
Xtasia is a licensed venue and also have rooms available to stay over about Flirts.
If you’re very nervous and want a quieter introduction, then come on Wednesday to couples/females night. It’s free entry, just pay for your club membership if you’re new. And you can get a tour of the club so you have a good idea of your bearings before entering on the busier Saturday night.
Although Xtasia has a hot tub, they are currently building a wet area between Xtasia and Flirts, which will give you more facilities to enjoy: 5m swim spa, sauna and steam room.
Now if you don’t mind stripping right down to a towel, shorts or sexy underwear/outfits, you’ll enjoy the vibe of Chameleons. It is like a rabbit warren with lots of little area to explore. The club is bring your own alcohol and mixers available to purchase at the bar that will serve you your drinks. There are wet facilities including two hot tubs, steam room and sauna, lots of playrooms and a small dance floor in the starlight room with a DJ.
Chams also have rooms available on site and is couples/females only on Saturday evenings.
Ourselves, we do love Xtasia, as we do like to go clubbing and enjoy dressing up and wondering what sexy people are looking like underneath their sexy clothes.
But we also have lots of friends who enjoy Chams as there are lots of sitting areas where people can chat and socialise with no or lower volume of music. As such, we do enjoy meeting our friends for a drink and a chat, though we often hit the dance floor too.
