 hope to pop over & wish you guys all the best for your new venture on Friday night if open ?
The Lodge was our first club and we will always hold those first memories close to our heart ! ( amongst other body parts ) lol
But on a serious note wishing you both success on your new venture

We will however be at the social tonight and hopefully one night this weekend and next weds social .
As most of you will know , we don't do socials , wealways play , so we hope to get a few more plays in before it closes the door for the last time .

We wish you all the very best Stu N Debs, we are flying off for some sun and cheap alcohol on the 9th so won't be able to attend the final night. Will keep an eye out for the new location and party invites.

"Sadly holidays mean we can't be with you on Saturday evening. Despite having to travel a fair way it has always been worth making the effort to go to the Lodge. Make no mistake we will be going to the new venue when it opens. It sounds very exciting. "Sad to say we didn't make the final party , sad because we were probably the most loyal patrons of the club . We would have loved to be there to see it off , but in a way , the fact that it was packed for it's last party tells it's own story . Horny porny , jungle fever , summer ball , Xmas and new year parties were all packed out . In-between those events , there were many nights that were so poorly attended that one had to wonder how long it could last . Despite Bath swingers club closing , there was still an attitude from locals that why would you bother going to the lodge ? And so , we see the club close , and now we don't have a local club . Over the next few months , how many of you will think about how nice it would be to pop to your local club ? Wednesday social , or Friday or Saturday night party ? If the last year is anything to go by , not that many and perhaps The Lodge won't be missed by most of you . For those of you like us , with kids and no opportunity to meet at home , the club was a perfect venue . And we will miss it like others may miss their local pub closing . The difference being that your local pub would have a dozen more nearby . We will miss the laughs and fun we have had with Simon ( pirate ) , Rachel , Cassie and all the regulars . When we first went 3 years ago , Stu and Debs offered help and advice to us which helped our journey in this lifestyle , and hosted our hen/ stag night at the club 2 years ago . Two of the nicest people we have ever met , and sorry we couldn't see our way clear tojoining the committee guys , but you know we couldn't have had a night without playing ! So in summation , we have had an absolute blast for the last 3 years , thank you all . All the best for the future , and hooe to see you all again really soon . And to everyone local who didn't support the club , and struggle to get meets - bollocks to you , hope you have a blast behind your keyboards . You don't know what you missed , and never will ! "As someone who has regularly attended the club since about 2 weeks after it opened I will definitely miss it. Couldn't make the last party night as we were away on holiday. Had some cracking nights there over the years and met some very sexy people - what on earth am I going to do on a Weds night now?? :D
