Has anyone else noticed there are over 12 fake profiles that have just been created within 10 minutes of each other? Similar content etc. not even being subtle about it. I have reported about 10 but they keep on registering. Looks like all have the same London location |

There is a male fake profile with pictures off Google I reported it twice yesterday it's still there blatantly appearing on new photos . |

Yeah, reported a few last night - must have been 20+ all coming up in quick succession as being local to me and new, different names but identical text etc. Looked like an automated thing - switched my profile to hidden for a while in case anything malicious... |

Sometimes they are not fakes just new profiles who have not filled in their profile so it gives an automated line on their profile , for example "I am a 33 year old straight woman and I'm looking to meet men" |

For ages on Fabguys there was a slew of them sending messages
"I want to masturbate online" but if you clicked on the profile you were blocked.
I set my preferences for a while to reject messages from new profiles and that helped.

Must have been quick as first few times I was daft enough to click on the profile after receiving the message 
Was a bloody nuisance and went on for weeks then stopped so Admin must have, thankfully, got right on top of it. |

They have things in place to deal with the spammers, but it is always good to report in case some sneak through |

It looked like they dropped off quite quickly so Site admin sorted it. They were not subtle at all which is kind of a good thing I guess |

There seem to be a bunch more - all have names formed by a woman's first name followed by 3 random letters - so looks like an automated thing.

I have actually found a few that create a new profile have been escorts,most only stay on for a few hours until message limit reached, out of curiosity, would it be a good idea to restrict new profiles to a more restrictive message limit, for a couple of days maybe, gives admin the time to validate if genuine or not ? |

Looks like 30+ new profiles all created in last 3 minutes ‘near’ to me. All same format, all look automated. Don’t know what the purpose is but someone’s making a fairly concerted effort to flood the site with these profiles |

This site is fucking brilliant, but the number of spam accounts has been increasing month by month, tries latest deluge has been a long time coming. It's about time we moved to a 'photo Veri first' system I think. |

Admin have things in place for spammers and tweak it as they go along and as the spammers change how they do things but there will always be stragglers. As explained further up, if you report you are helping Admin get rid of them.
