I'd like to see a Venn diagram of nudists and swingers (for want of a better word). I bet there's a good sized overlap. Lots of nudists hate to be confused with swingers which is fair enough. Being naked amongst other like-minded folk is a really liberated feeling and some nudists aren't honest about checking each other out which is fine, surely, if done discreetly. Who doesn't like being admired from afar? |

Great idea. I’d love to see that too. And totally agree, although I do know some nudists, or naturists as they would call themselves, who are adamant they are anti-swingers. Not a problem to me or for me, although there are def some I have known who do enjoy watching the more adult fun when it happens, even if they won’t join in or out on a show themselves. |

Count me in. Love being nude on beaches and at home. As well as at Chameleons.
Particularly love swimming naked.
And chatting naked with others is always good - there's that openness that comes with it, leading to more open conversations. (And, yes, it's always hot as well.) |

The thing I find difficult about a specific naturist section is to what end? Will it be to discuss naturism as a whole? Of which one could argue why not, there is a motorbike section after all. But then why not a gardening section or a stamp collecting section or a fishing section? Or will it be to discuss mixing both intrests? Which of course is perfectly fair, its just we have very limited avenues for this in this country.
We are naturist in a true vanilla sense, also swingers (obviously) and as you can imagine happy to mix both in circumstances where appropriate to do so.
My two concerns about such a section are:
Will it allow the ignorant a smoking gun to link swingers and naturist? Imagine the papers are often reading this site for cheap and sleazy news. Leading to negative attitudes towards naturism and also hardening the wider naturist community against swingers.
And will it bring attention to nice unspoilt naturist spaces to those who would act inappropriately in those spaces and spoil it for us all? This is of special importance to all us who bring family.
BTW it's obviously a section that would intrest us but I have my concerns too. Naturism is discussed lots in the camping section in terms of where to stay. And is brought up now and then more generally in other topics. I just question if the demand is enough for a specific section and wider consequences such visibility of naturism on here could have. |

This is a fantastic idea, , , as a genuine naturist, having being bought up that way it would be great to get some ideas from other GENUINE naturists for places to visit other than the sex pest infested St Osyth.
I do use another beach in Essex that has long been known as an unofficial naturist beach and have spent many a long summer's day just chilling in the sun without having to worry about the meerkat masturbating males that frequent the other option in the area.
So please count me in, , , this could be a breath of fresh air. |

Totally understand your view, however for us this is a swinging site so swinging should be able to be mixed with naturism if the mods did make a separate forum room for naturism.
We are swingers but enjoy visiting nudist villas (where we have gone knowing that others might not play but we have always been pleasantly surprised when there)
If fabbers want to discuss pure naturism then why not go on a dedicated naturist site where swinging wont be discussed? Just think there is a grey area when we are swingers but also enjoy being naked in the sun |

Very well thought out response and well put.
I'm a naturist and have been for many years. You'll often find me at Druridge Bay in Northumberland as it's close to home. It's not an official nudist beach but a few people know of its unofficial status. Unfortunately it does get frequented by too many who are not just there for the naturism aspect of the lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind watching or taking part in a little fun now and then but every now and again you can tell word has got out and a host of new faces will appear who are purely there for a cheap thrill. The area is used by nany clothed people for dog walking, hiking, exercise etc so you have to be vigilant. Unfortunately the cheap thrill seekers are not vigilant and have on occasion caused a backlash due to being seen. This has resulted in the police being called and a lot of unnecessary hassle for the genuine naturists.
I'm not saying word couldn't be spread via other means but for me, keeping the specific subject of naturism separate is not necessary on a site like Fab. Too many lurkers on here. |

Buying or subscribing online to H&E or looking through sites like BN would be a better place to start looking than Fab for genuine naturist/nudist holiday locations. |

I’m guessing there may be an issue around non-swinging naturists having a problem with “naturism” being featured on a swinging site and appropriating the label in a sexual context I.e. Fab!
A possible way to bypass this issue would be to use “nudism/nudist” instead both as a forum category and under interests.
Open to any thoughts. Perhaps admin could comment on this. |

Good idea. We'll start
We have been to two of the all-inclusive naturist villa's near Malaga, Casa Patricia and Nice and Natural. Enjoyed both, however we liked Nice and Natural more hence booked again for 4th-9th July next year.
There's others in the area that we havent been to but will look at going to those the following year.

we are nudists and swingers. Nudists like sex too.nudist just like not wearing clothes when there is no need too.
Its that simple.

Disagree. I suspect the forum would be just full of chat about where the action is and help to perpetuate the problems of irresponsible behaviour and bad public image harming all us who want to simply enjoy being naked as we are currently legally allowed. The press love low hanging fruit and I bet they'd find plenty of ammunition on here with naturism and swinging directly linked on here. |

"I'd like to see a Venn diagram of nudists and swingers (for want of a better word). I bet there's a good sized overlap. Lots of nudists hate to be confused with swingers which is fair enough. Being naked amongst other like-minded folk is a really liberated feeling and some nudists aren't honest about checking each other out which is fine, surely, if done discreetly. Who doesn't like being admired from afar? we are nudists and swingers. Nudists like sex too.nudist just like not wearing clothes when there is no need too.
Its that simple.
