Couldn't messages sent by friends or people on your hotlist go into separate inboxes with everybody else going into the general messages?
Instagram has dual inboxes for VIPs and general messages, given how one can friend somebody on here, it would make it easier to stay in touch rather than lose your message in among everybody else's. |

Oh and another thing, how about email notifications for when friends or somebody on your hotlist send you an email or wink in addition to the option of having email notifications for everybody else?
I imagine a lot of people would be happy to have that turn on instead of having to deal with hundreds of notification emails from strangers. |
