The volunteer staff who approve photos have their resources spread thinly, which means that the high volumes of pics coming in avalanches at times, will result in some longer delays. It should be similar for everyone and is just something that we have to accept, as part of the free to use site, where resources aren't always in huge supply.
As everyone is going to be subject to similar delays, it should balance out in the longer term, when some of your pics will be quicker and others' pics will be slower. Swings and roundabouts.
Most people aren't paying site supporters, so we benefit from the free to use features, and have to accept some minor inconvenience sometimes. |
