Hello,
After recently seeing a lot of people posting updates about time wasters...I was thinking/wondering if there could be like a 3 strikes and your blocked from messaging for a month or something?
Just thinking that if say 3 different profiles say you were a time waster then you have to re verify yourself/lose one verification?
Couple of suggestions to get the ball rolling |

Numerous threads on the subject and this, along with most, is way to far open to abuse from disgruntled members.. |

You can report people for arranging to meet and not showing up there's an option for it in the report link |

One man's time waster is another man's selective couple. There's no credible way to avoid abuse of any such system. |

It's too much open to abuse being honest.
There is an option to report no shows.
But you also have to think that the site would only be able to verify such an occasion if all messages was only on here.
Lot's of users after talking for a while exchange other forms of communication outside of fab. So that would make it impossible for admin to verify it.
If all messaging and communication was done through messaging on here then it could possibly be sorted easier. But again even then it's open to abuse to be fair.
Common sense is the best tool all users have and should use. As the old saying goes.
"If it sounds too good to be true" It probably is just that.
Also life events could possibly be a reason. If a person had an emergency etc they may not have time to cancel. Life does bring up surprises at times. |

Open to abuse and learning to spot them is key |

So basically if someone arranges a meet to fuck or get fucked by a stranger, they are not allowed to change their minds? I think that's what a lot of members don't take into account.
If someone decides they don't want to open their legs or get Thier cock up another member, that is their choice.

I often wonder how people who get stood up frequently go about vetting potential meets in the first place.
Yes of course people can cancel for all sorts of reasons and that's part and parcel of this site but some people appear to be only having negative experiences.
In 4 years here I've never had a no show and I've never been one either.
I've had 2 instances where women made other plans and used me as plan B but it was obvious from their lack of communication they wouldn't be there so I didn't travel and their shiny new veries the next day was proof of their gameplaying.
I learned from those but some people seem to do the same things over and over and expect different outcomes. |

Imagine I've got three people who dislike me. Maybe for valid reasons, maybe for stupid reasons. Not for time wasting reasons. I'll call them Anna, Barbara, and Chris (A, B, and C).
"Hey Anna, tell Chris to report Swing as having stood you up. If we all do it we'll get her thrown off Fab". |

Nobody is saying that, we are all entitled to change our minds it's more for the ones who arrange to meet then don't turn up or let you know they've changed their minds which is really lame and disrespectful |

Fab puts in place its own system and doesn't reveal the details, apart from explaining what happens when they get various types of reports about others. If they had a publicly known fixed system, it would encourage people to game it.
As it stands, we the users hold full responsibility for assessing others and the rules etc that we put in place. I like that, as it keeps us on our toes and we take less for granted. If we've had issues, we review how we operate and improve our approach, rather than repeating any mistakes, lack of caution, ignoring the blindingly obvious telltale signs that all was not right, etc.
It leaves us open to hassle, wasted effort etc but our species learns incredibly well from things not working and mistakes. |

No. If someone arranges to meet you, then doesn't show without cancelling, or an explanation; sends you on a wild goose chase; sends you to someone else's address etc, that's time-wasting that has to be reported.

To clarify, this wouldn't get past Admin as a real report unless there was evidence on the site. So malicious reports wouldn't be sanctioned , for the person being reported anyway |

As Sophie says, Admin have lots of ways to deal with people being reported, once verified of course. There is a summary of what they are likely to do after a report on the next post. |

Oh no, I'm saying if the system the OP suggested were implemented, it could be abused that way.
Apologies for the lack of clarity. |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.
Admin
PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
--
Your feedback has been saved.
A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.****** |

Inaswingdress...the system OP is suggesting is multiple reports against someone with the result of sanctions.
Again to clarify, multiple reporting with no evidence wouldn't get past Admin. |
