Could just be an issue with my phone but today the top menu on the site is sitting behind the browser address panel?

Properly close safari. Ie swipe it off the screen. Then open safari again. See if still happens.

You need to do a software update

What iPhone do you have

The updates are designed to slow the phone down after 3 years give or take a few months

I personally wouldn’t buy apple anymore

Moving back to Samsung

My iPhone 8 Plus has problems now on its 3rd year of life

I moved from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 12.

Both worked ok until IOS15 came along and now some apps are a bit fubar.

I think its not actually Apples fault (Partially), but app developers not keeping up with Apple updates, which they can get months in advance under the developer programme, Beta tests.

An example is KIK, sort of runs but can takes 5 - 10 mins to be ready to use and thats on a brand new phone......
