No. Not every site has to be a boring carbon copy of the internet monoliths, and I'd prefer it if they weren't.
Of course this is social media, but it's social media with a particular function, and to me a lot of Facebook type functions would detract from the central aims of the site. |

I think the major difference is social media presence. Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat stories are mainly helpful for content creators to gain more revenue. People on here, as a whole, want to keep a level of privacy not display their lives for other users to see. |
