I know it’s a complex area but Transsexual is very outdated and needs to be changed to Transgender and separate from the Transvestite and Cross dressing identity. There should also be a non binary identity.
Seems so out of touch for such a welcoming space to explore gender and sexuality.
Fab really needs to change that soon. How do you feel about it? |

This comes up so often that it’s clearly an issue that a lot of people feel strongly about. I certainly agree that the categories need tweaking but I doubt very much that we’ll see any change any time soon  |

When it comes to splitting TS and T'others:
What counts as being TS?
Who gets to determine if someone is TS?
Is it the girls themselves, based on how they view their own gender?
Does this decision need to be justified to admin on Fab in some way? And if so, how?
Whether it is the intention or not, usually this question tends to boil down to can we have Tgirls who look like red hot pornstars in one category and everyone else in the other. |

I agree. However, all that will lead to is people not being happy that that person doesn't match their expectations of what someone in that category should be like.
On TvChix I saw plenty of people I knew personally picking an aspirational category. |

It’ll never happen as much as I agree the category is outdated and it should really be TV/CD.
I am guessing the site owners can see the percentages of people in the TV/TS category and as it’s so low, why bother ?
Plus, a trans woman can just add herself to the woman category anyway. Same with a trans man. Which would dilute the category even more, would the very few trans men on this site actually add themselves to a TS category ?
The site will stay the way it is, no amount of discussion will change it.

As ive said before on the subject,who's too police it and deem who is in which pigeon hole ? Can a HPW in a pair of knickers genuinely be trusted too class themselves correctly and not as a Transgendered person. |

This topic was raised last week, as hundreds of other weeks. Discussed exhaustively, over 15+ years.
It's not to be changed for the benefit of anyone, except the actual people who are self-identified as such.

The site owners review every suggestion made, within the forum feedback areas. Individual emails to them are unnecessary, when they have provided direct feedback and discussion areas in the forum and risks diverting attention away from where they expect to get feedback. |

What ever happened to the elf that was in the gnome category because there was no fairy/elf category, god he had a wand and a half, I always thought he should have been allowed in the wizards category with a wand that size ?. Or am I just being pedantic (hey is there a pedantic catagory)?.  |
