Is it allright to post a charity link to cancer research ? A colleague of mine has Breast caner and we are holding a charity head shave at work. I'm taking part, and would like to put a link in the forum

I recently posted a topic about shoeboxes for soldiers.

I emailed a mod first to make sure it was ok to post the topic and was told as long as I didnt post the link I could post the topic.

What I did was asked people to email me for more details and it worked well, the people who wanted the detail contacted me and no complaints (to my knowledge) were made because no link was posted in the forums.

Hope this help.

Charity links aren't allowed in forums. If people are raising money for a charity and want to say that in their status we've not got a problem (no links though please).
