"In your opinion what is the ONE thing to change or address that would improve the Fabswingers site?  "
Limit single men (maybe couples too?) to 5 ‘first’ messages on a single day - obviously, enable them (us) to continue a conversation to any reply they (we) receive.
Maybe, increase that slightly for verified/Site Supporters?
It would force men to read profiles and only target good matches, saving women/couples from being bombarded with messages. That would be good for us men too, as it would increase the likelihood that our messages would get read - then maybe we’ll receive responses…
Maybe put a limit on the number of words that must be in that first message (i.e. A minimum of 100 words) or similar? |

Yes - I am wondering if Fabs was inadvertently designed (from the outset) with an inherently male perspective?
To a certain extent that’s understandable, a lot of single guys pay the bulk of the fees - they are an important customer.
Maybe we do need a bit of a re think? |

Better verifications for new accounts to stop the fakes they must photo verify or even video verify within 24 hours or account deleted
Allow to search the meets advertised looking for your sex as you can when generally looking/searching for people |

there are many members who live permanently in Spain - so perhaps a Spanish page and home location would be great. There are pages for the USA, Australia Canada etc which are hardly used but we in Spain do get loads of messages from people in the UK thinking that Portsmouth is our location |

The very first meet we ever had was a one line comment from a single male that made us laugh so much we answered then met three days later. We would have lost out on a great meet had it been limited to more words. |

If you are the desktop you can click on "find" from the three dots at the right then enter the name to find it on the page. Not sure if there is the same way or equivalent on the phone but I am sure there must be |

This and other users ability to search based on what they are looking for.
I am South Asian and I have come across profiles saying they don't want to meet Asians. I respect their preference. Instead,
1) They could have an option to choose ethnicities, height and build they are looking for along with age preferences which are already available
2) Then I could have a search filter to look only for profiles whose preferences match my profile.
This would save a lot of time for both the people involved. |

This is actually my decision suggestion. But posting here because making the changes should be straight forward.
If I block someone, the meets/events posted by them should not be visible when I search for meets/events in an area. I can see some profiles who I am never going to meet. It would be nice to filter out the meets posted by them |

A list of likes and dislikes like Bumble has
So if I'm into rock, only what a particular ethnicity etc - I can then dig down further and do a more specific search
I'm sure people would pay more or at least you would get more subscribers

Blocked should be BLOCKED
1. No appearing on my blocked list or theirs, which shows when online, status a updates and profile photo
2. They cant see your forums posts or replies, which sometimes discusses times for socials etc.
4. They cant see when you’re online!
How dangerous that blocked people can still see the above! : |

The way the site has gone downhill over the years, I`m tempted to say just close it.
Way too much time spent trying to get a meet nowadays - and then when you do, they turn out to be nothing like on their photos - and their house is like a shit tip.
It's largely become just another social media inane chat site now (seriously just look at the shite talked on here) - a real pity because it used to be fantastic. |

That could be used maliciously by three different friends. However, Admin have lots of things in place to deal with reports and if a report is verified people could end up with a warning then a 5 day ban and a total ban if people are constantly breaking rules |

Well, they disappear after some time. I think it is around 3 weeks.
Makes messaging people who don't use the website frequently rather useless as they don't know you've messaged them when they log back in.

The ability to set an option to ‘ping’ up on the phones of others when you’re within a mile or so.
Let’s say you’re out somewhere, feeling horny and would love to find someone who is thinking the same. You activate the selection button on your phone, and if they have the selection button activated on their phone as they are also feeling horny, then the phones ‘ping’ each other.
It would give the option to find likeminded people. Could then message each other and take matters from there...just a thought |

I'm a developer with 20+ years experience and would quite happily help out in exchange for membership.

Yes I know that, what I mean is the mail I get. I have my filter set to allow only verified profiles to mail me, but that means either photo verified or meet verified can mail me. I don't want those who are only photo verified to mail me, I find that it is predominantly those who send the nonsense messages. |

Sounds like a great option for gay/bi-men. Can't see many others wanting to use that Well there would be thousands of straight single men using it but maybe only a handful of single ladies or couples. There are exceptions but this isn't generally the place where "I'm in the area nearby and feeling horny" works very much.

A year or two ago I would have said some form of chat function like kik or telegram including the option to create groups (esecpaily for 4 way couples chat) but these days not even sure that is needed. Think it would too open for abuse and people hassling others unless very strict restrictions were in place. I guess it could be an opt-in function. But then don't think it would make a huge improvement in use of the site in terms of actually getting to meet people.
I think perhaps the biggest thing to address is some way to stem the tide of ladies (and couples) getting flooded with messages especially when new. I know so many ladies basically given up with Fab and female half of couples who rarely look as they can't be arsed to deal with the hassle. |

I would say Stop free membership on the site after the 1st Month completely maybe? .. make it an introductory offer .. and not allow another new membership created from the same IP address or phone number perhaps for a further month?
Other than that use a ‘ you stay ,you pay ‘ approach instead for all members .
Definitely would sort out the recent increase in cloaked paid services being advertised on here now
just through creating a free membership with one photo and adding ‘ my Kik id is kind of tells you what they are doing doesn’t it !
Would put a stop to I should think most of the time wasting kids on here creating fake accounts and the multi profiled / same person issues that happen in here too . Which skews the data just a tiny bit if nothing else when one person has 3 different ?
All no doubt unlikely to happen but I’d say useful if it did :/

Better communicating with each other, but that's not down to the site but us individuals to do. Unfortunately, some can't be even bothered to read profiles and seem to ask questions to which they've already an answer for. So no, I've no constructive feedback really since I believe the site is already reasonably well constructed for it to be a success. It's simply down to us individuals to make it better by effectively communicating with one another and to respect each others wishes.  |

Absolutely agree.
Also, more varied sexuality/gender options. And it's been said (ignored) a million times, but separate TS from TV/CD, they are not the same thing, and TS is a hella outdated term anyway. I like fab a lot but a little getting-with-the-times spruce up wouldn't go amiss. The formatting is kinda dated.
