I guess it would just be for over fifties who wanted to meet over fifties.
I don't think it would increase the number of meets people got because you can search by age on fab anyway.

I think an over 50s chat room can help bring people who want to meet each other together. Isn't that the whole purpose of Fab?
If some younger folk with an intest in meeting us wanted to pop in and chat, that wouldn't be a problem.

I think it's a great idea, we all I know anybody can enter any existing chat room however you tend to find the majority in each one are akin to the room title. |

a 50 plus or 60 plus (as im 4 months off that) chat/socials option would be wonderful but im not so sure it would be practical in terms of how it would be managed/eligibility to participate. Might be viewed as discriminatory/ageist when fundamental principle of FAB is to be inclusive/participatory/equitable environment to meet/chat etc? Just saying as Id have views if I was actively excluded from things on FAB on basis of you must be this age to ride the rollercoaster. Lol. There will always be sensitivities around being perceived as too old (too young....if only!) or otherwise not eligible to join in something on here. And oooops- I just kicked a hornet's nest. Bzzzzzzz, Lol. |

I very rarely get contacted/winks which I think are due to my age - I could lie and say I was 55, but not into that. A contact room with like minded older would be fab!! |
