Just to clarify, I wasn't blocked by people, I got a message ban and prevented from sending messages for hours simply because I was saying "thank you" to everyone who was wishing me a happy birthday. |

Ah. Can't be 100% sure but I suspect it was just the system worrying you were spamming people by sending the same message repeatedly.
