Yes please...
We constantly get people who are 250+ miles away looking at us
We are never going to meet them
Never been near the area they are from
We even had someone from the USA view us and send a message about meeting up!!!
We need a max looking distance |

Sometimes people are in that area for a certain duration , holidaying or work. So they maybe looking with the intention of arranging something whilst visiting. We've had a couple look at us from Scotland because they were visiting London in Jan. |

It's not the looking... its the messages asking to meet aswell
No harm in looking, I agree but when you get a look/wink the distance is still 300+ miles away and not local to the area
There is no counter argument against having a setting to limit to how far my profile shows |

I've met people who live 300+ miles from me. At clubs and events where we've both travelled.
One of my partners and I met a couple who live 1800 miles away this month.
Distance isn't always an issue for some.
On our couples profile if we get messages from people too far to be of interest we just delete them. Simple as that and the volume of said messages is literally a handful a month. |

Doesn't matter cant block distances |
The point is still the same... If you play, sex, club, meet, whatever fab term you use then you'd not utilise the distance.. however for those who prefer to interact with someone more than once a lottery win distance selection/blocks would be useful. |

We're going to be down in Pompey in April. We might have a peep about to see who's going to be local and arrange something ahead of time...if we're compatible, we might have some nice times but we'd be filtered out...
You'd either have to make it so people's location is fixed or if its changeable, then they'd just change it to get round your filters...it's why you can't filter smokers, or sexuality...they can change so people have to have the ability to do that, but then they can just use that to get round them... |

I'm guessing that it's a minority of people who would want to restrict contact from people who are not local. If it was an easy change for Fab to implement, that have us the option to restrict users over e user defined distance away, then it might serve their needs.
I'm guessing too that as Fab already has messaging filtering options available, that this could be more acceptable and possibly easier than a completely new option of viewer filtering. |
