Hi
Interested to know why Fabis not world wide. In this modern age where we are digital nomads wouldn’t it be great to hook up with local people wherever we are?
Seems bizarre it is just English speaking countries |

"Swinging is obviously a local activity so a certain site will tend to become “the” place for people in that area to use. Fab is “the” one for the UK. Other countries have other sites."
I can see what you are saying but fab isn’t just the U.K. it’s America, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. If it works there why not go to other countries we have all possibly tried other sites and found them harder to use or full of bots and fake profiles |

We're currently in Tenerife.
We've had plenty of messages from other people over here at the mo. If you use the mobile site and hit the 'who's near me' you can see who is around, worldwide.
Fab is already 'global' to an extent. 🤷♂️ |

Yes I understand about the who Is near you feature but that still only shows people who have mainly signed up in the U.K. and travel to the country you are in. imagine if there was a French Spanish German fab section and you could meet or at least view all the people with your interests in the country you are visiting. There may be a lot of natives in the country you are in who would like to meet U.K. residents travelling abroad |

Fabs owners have their own strategy for their business, as well as their own priorities in their lives. It's largely run on a shoestring of staff, with most being volunteers, such as the mods.
Whilst it's largely English speaking countries that it operates in, outside of Europe, it's only a somewhat cutdown version, of what the UK has. I think it would be a significant change, should Fab want to emulate its UK success, around the world. Perhaps it could even spoil things here, if it tried to spread itself too thinly or became a huge global success, with the majority of its users outside of Europe. Perhaps nobody would be happy.
If you'd like to jointly invest, for example, you could always contact the owners directly. |
