Most attached people don't disclose it at all, or do once you've got deep in a convo.
I'd personally glance past something like this cos I wouldn't trust it. Same as I do with the safe sex button. Many say they do, but I prefer to find out myself in convo |

If it was a searchable option, allowing you to filter out those who are potentially more or less suitable, it could be valuable.
When searching through the many thousands of men here, the site needs to support you with your filtering. We do need to get the right information/data and then be able to use it to help us. |

It's not about your marital status, it's about the quantity of people... there are loads of couples also have individual "singles" profiles too.
I assume your issue is actually people cheating? Unfortunately when it comes to being dishonest, many are not honest about it.

No my issue is I want to search for single... And have that option just as I have the option to choose 35-45 to message me or only males to message.
Like I've said YES PEOPLE do lie and will lie. But the whole point of an option is to filter accordingly to what you are interested in. |

But as I said, the "single" on here means that there is just the one of them, just like a couple means that there a two... not that they are in a relationship.

I do not disagree that "married but looking" would be a good option (certainly for myself)...but I dont think it is really going to make much difference. Some men on a single profile go to great lengths to give a great description of themselves...yet still manage to miss out "attached". Most men prefer to disclose their attached status to those they think will be a sympathetic ear. The only people on here actively seeking straight married men are the guy/bi guys. |

I think it would be really helpful if there was a "yes/no people without consent from partners" option for folk kinda like the smoking thing. Some people say in their bio they won't meet such folk but it's the first question I ask, every time I message someone. Would save them and myself the bother. |
