Didn't realise that only the first 100 messages are visible to someone in their inbox. This explains 2 things;
- why many people dont even have their messaged read never mind replied to (as often their message, even if good and well intended, will have disappeared from view within a few hours)
- how this then perpetuates a system of follow up messaging which further exacerbates the problem.
Surely there must be a way to filter messages without simply blocking an entire demographic (men)...... E.g. doesnt send if fewer than 10 words or if no pic attached.
Surely?! |

Even if a user received thousands are able to still respond to whom they wished to
It's nothing to do with they never respond because they never saw it but who they decided to respond to which could be something within the bio which they liked then decided to read the said message and respond.
Whilst messages may be sent a user still needs to find something interesting and if they don't see even a little bit of attraction/connection/chemistry within the profile unlikely for a response |
