I think there are way to many 1 way verifications, I think one should only show when both profiles have left feedback only seems fair if one person has gone out of their way to write one but the other profile couldn't be bothered. |

Not necessarily - the other profile may not have wanted or needed a verification. I've written a verification for someone I've met but didn't require one in return

Verifications are optional - you don't have to have them or give them. They should, at most, be used as an indication that a living person was responsible, behind the profile. It's to indicate that you might be dealing with someone who is honestly the claimed user.
Less of them would be given, if there was to be mandatory display of them.. |

They arent meant to be used like some sort of trip advisor, praising each other up how good a shag they were, it proves your real and of the sex you state you are and you turn up, after recieving my 1st one i got my tick there isnt really any need to get another |

You need to be verified yourself (green tick) before you can verify others, if he is verified ask him to verify you then youll be able to verify him.. if hes not then none of you can till either of you are verified |

Verifications are a great source of information and I always try to verify people back. It's annoying when people ask for a veri and don't follow thorough and leave one. Some people just can't be bothered it seems. |

I do agree with you about this. It's something that has annoyed me in the past although I no longer display my verifications anyway. Once I was asked after a social by an unverified man to verify him but he didn't leave one back. I tend to block the person if they don't verify me back, so then the text I have left them disappears . |
