Photo upload

I've noticed that when photos are uploaded (even photo verification ones)..they all seem to show up on recent pictures regardless of whether set to public or private.

Is this the case or does the setting work and people often don't set it when they upload?

Mines have never unless ive left them to sbow on public pics
