Reserving the right to tell someone to f#@k off
Jump to: Newest in thread
I have just recieved a warning for sending abusive messages which i assume will be a 'strike'on my account?? Could there maybe be some form of arbitration and ability to contest these instances ? I would argue after spending time conversing with who you are led to believe are a mf couple only to find 5 messages in and for the 4th time that eve its just another single male trying to exploit a couples profile to bypass my set preferences for contact . Its avsolutely infuriating . I 247 unread messages in my inbox the vast number of these from single guys who have not read my profile . I dont want to block them altogether as i get contacted by single guy profiles about Dj gigs from time to time,
All i said was go fuck yourself . No threats to the member . They were just butthurt they were blown out so decided they wanted to take me down a peg or two. I would argue its my right to tell them to fuck off ..

Telling someone to, and I'm quoting what you wrote 'go fuck yourself' is an abusive message. And yes you will receive a warning for it. The next time you send and abusive message to someone you will either receive a 5 day ban or have your profile permanently suspended.
Maybe next time just block and report so Admin can deal with the other person, that is what the report button is there for. |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.
Admin
PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
