Several time I have messaged people who's profile says they are on line. Only to find once the message has been sent that went of line several minutes ago. This is infuriating when you are trying to maintain a conversation. |

I know from speaking to quite a few women about this and also reading their comments on the forums that one of the most infuriating and annoying parts of fab for them is that blue dot showing them as online.
They would much rather have an option to be online without anyone knowing.
There is a certain expectation that when they are online they should reply to messages regardless of whether they are first time messages or ongoing conversations. |

Couldn't agree more. For privacy, it would be a great addition to be able to not show your status. Heck, even have it as a perk of a paid membership if needed.
I'm sure the usual crowd will say there are workarounds and what not, but this should be relatively simple to implement and would help massively.

If the person wants to carry on the conversation with you surely they will pick it up when they come back online? |

Fab is not suitable for having a proper conversation . It will only lead to frustration. One has to either accept it's useless for that purpose or go to another medium to converse . That's not likely to happen with someone not yet met so back to the first option ! |

Few things need the urgency of real-time tracking of others' whereabouts and certainly not a swinging site.
If you're about to meet and rely on Fab, it's unrealistic and unwise, when real-time telecom devices exist, letting you call and text.
Many people don't even check their inbox every day - I don't |

There's a lag when people log off, or stop being active on the site of a few minutes.
Even if someone is online there's no guarantees they'll view a message immediately. Conversations will have to pause at some point as nobody is online 24/7. Even if accurate to the second, someone could log off whilst you were typing a reply to a message and you'd only know after you'd hit send. 🤷♂️ |

Does it really matter ....if someone is that interested they'd get back to you ..
I tend to reply when that's happened out of courtesy but in most cases it's a waste of time,so assume it would have come to nothing anyways , |
