PROFILE PHOTO VERIFICATION
25/06/2025 - 12 Noon Start
It is TIME THAT ALL PROFILES should be PHOTO VERIFIED by FabGuys / FabSwingers within 48 hours of Account Creation.
Yes, by providing one of the methods already listed by FG/FS, BUT ALSO one additional Specific Photo from a Random Library of options - eg.
clear face selfie - 1 finger on chin
ditto - with finger on left ear
ditto - thumb up 👍 next to face
ditto - V Sign ✌️ next to face
ditto - in the bathroom
ditto - loads of options
NEW PROFILES to do Photo Verification AGAIN after 1 month.
ALL PROFILES to do Photo verification AGAIN every 6 months.
The Photo Verified by FG/FS Green Tick ✅ to include a number, showing how many times the user has been through Photo Verification, eg "✅6"
POLL RESPONSE - YES✅ OR NO❌

I have tried to do this every year for 12 years, clear face pic, holding the paper up with details as requested and it has failed every time so good look with that idea   |

So you'd only ask Couples to re-veri? What about women and men? |

Think everyone should re-verify. profiles can be hacked.
The verification procedure is open to abuse, if you have your original verification profile, nothing stopping you using it again. The verification doesn't even need a date.
If you have one verification by webcam that can be used to give a fake verification to any profile you want.
There is actually a profile who regularly features on the most fabbed, doesnt seam to be posting anything new just the same old pics over and over.
What is a person gets bored of just messing people around online and they pose as a couple and lure a single lady into a meet.
Not everyone is as suspicious as us. Fab could and should do more to protect its userbase. |

Lots of photo verified couples already try to lure single females into meeting just the male half. In fact most of the couples who contact me are just the man wanting to meet.

You do you. Personally i couldn't be arsed with the hassle. I'll use common sense as I've always done. Proven to work so no need to change it |

Photo verification is to confirm gender. Nothing more.
Once verified a single man or woman is unlikely to change gender.
Yes, couples can and do split, but surely it's easy to verify if they're still a couple by viewing recent verifications, speaking on the phone, having a video chat or just meeting somewhere for a social coffee/drink/chat.
There are many things you can choose to do if you're suspicious of a profile. You could even move on to another one. 🤷♂️
Admin have always stayed that photo verification will never be compulsory. |

There are obviously fakes out there, just don't meet them.
If you want early verification, ask the person in question for a facetime chat.
There is no reason to have the amount of admin that would create.
The site is just a basic platform and that's a good thing. |

I first signed up here in January 2016.
This is my 4th single profile and I'm also one half of a current couples profile.
In all that time and through all those profiles I've never once chatted to or engaged with a fake profile.
That's not down to luck because if the place really was infested the law of averages would mean I should have bumped into a few by now.
Some people don't like being told to use filters and many more don't like being told to use common sense and do their due diligence because that would mean giving up the right to complain about the place being full of fakes.
If your fab experience is blighted by fake profiles there is one common denominator and refusing to accept that and continuing in denial will change nothing.
That's not victim blaming, it's a reminder to give your head a wobble. |
