Please can (excuse my ignorance ) i ask..with the new sexual content proof of age law coming into force how do Fab swingers know peoples true date of birth.
On other sites i believe facial recognition is mandatory.
Whilst i enjoy the thrill in posting my somewaht naughty photos i would never like to overstep any legal offences..
Can anyone advise...Thanks |

There are numerous methods all of which have been deemed 'highly effective ' you have a number of choices to verify yourself on fab.
I personally chose the adult content check with your mobile provider which I'm not sure why other sites don't use as it takes literal seconds and is very hard to bypass

I suspect that no system is infallible.
I am confident that facial recognition is the least reliable.
If you are in any doubt at all as to whether you are sharing naughty photos with adults, then perhaps the only way to be entirely sure is to only show those pictures to adults who you are in the physical presence of. (but do NOT give a copy)
Any kind of "showing" or "Sharing" online is no different to showing or sharing by post, by text, by telegram, by email etc.
The ONLY way to be 100% sure that you are showing a picture of yourself to an adult who can prove their age is by meeting in real life and asking to see their face, passport, driving licence or even pension book.

About time it came in. Sorry but kids should not be able to access porn, so easily. It does so much damage to their future expectations & relationships of what real sex is like compared to the staged stuff they watch.  |

Just a quick update on this.
Firstly, thanks to the over a hundred thousand users who have gone through the process already during testing and helped us refine the Age Assurance 18+ experience.
- All new UK users must age assure to use Fab.
- All existing users must go through the process too (other than those who have already undertaken an action -- see below).
- If you have already undertaken an action which is classified as a "highly effective method" of age assurance (for example, recently accessing the site by an adult unlocked phone, upgrading by text from an adult unlocked phone or upgrading by credit card), then your account will be flagged as age assured.
We will also be rolling out age assurance to Irish users (who have a similar law going live in a few days) and rest of world (since we believe it makes the site safer for all users).
Any feedback on the methods please add to the feedback thread.
PS. there's an "age assurance" link at bottom of homepage of site you can follow to read more information and check your own account age assurance.
If you are not age assured it will be highly obvious since you will not be able to see any content, send message or make use of our service.

Same as if you wanted to buy a bottle of vodka in a shop. If you clearly look over 18 years, as can be seen by your verification picture, then you'll be passed. If the website owner has any concerns, he will ask you to take a picture of your passport. Everyone using the site now has been through the age verification process, as all features are disabled until having passed the process. |

Fab dont use your verification picture or passport to age verify. This is incorrect advice |
