Failed Security check - every login

Hi.

Every time i log into the site (Chrome Browser either on Windows or Android Tablet/phone), when i type in my email and password and hit "Login" I get a "failed security test" message.

I then have to type in the random generated number followed by my password again and it connects. This has been ongoing for about 2 months now, and the devices are connecting from my usual IP addresses etc.

What is causing me to have to double log-in every time?

Thanks

Have you installed a different web browser, such as Opera, to compare the results?

Do you get the same on a different network, that's not restricted for adult services eg a mobile, instead of WiFi?

Yup..

Used Edge on Windows and get the same results. Am on WiFi rather than mobile network, and no known Adult site restrictions (access other adult sites with no issues).

Feels like a restriction on my account rather than my browser etc.

It only started a couple of months ago tho. Never had it before that, and now it is every time i login (multiple times a day if i log out and login later on in the day).

Wondering how to make it go away lol

This used to happen to us (well, me) frequently because I wasn't paying attention when typing in the password, and because I had put it in incorrectly, the password manager wanted to update the saved details (the 'new' password, and I let it. So each and every time I tried to log in via my own phone, my phone would auto fill the wrong password and we would be directed to the security check.

I had to delete the FaB details from my password manager and just do it manually. And it stopped happening.

I get this on chrome im also with Vodafone and I don't get it if I use my data on my phone.

but we had a power cut a while back, and when the power came back on I didnt have to use the security code,

I've tested this I turned off the power I had to use the code again

But I then turned off the power again and for a few weeks now no security code lol its worth a go

Nah it's not. I've been getting this on and off for years. Nothing personal

Just realised you posted about this before and I commented on it then too lol

As you said on that other thread, you'll just have to get used to it...one day it'll disappear for a while.

.......

Has your ip changed recently?

Most household net is dynamic.

Meaning if the router restarts you are given a new ip.

That can I believe cause login security.
