When I look at who’s near
It is people from Birmingham n west mids, also getting messages from there as people think we are near,
To my thinking someone has to be logged on to our account in that area ?
Is it a moderator ?
Do I need to delete my account, can someone help sort this out please |

Mods can't log into your account, neither can admin.
Could it be that the people you are seeing are actually in your area according to location services on their device despite their profile saying they're elsewhere |

As a forum mod I can't find things like that out and as it seems to have reverted to normal I doubt admin could either.

Still haven’t heard back from Admin
I no longer have the problem today but I still don’t know why my profile had me as being in Birmingham, it was like that all day when I looked, if my account is compromised I could do with knowing, can someone please help sort this out ? |

If you ever suspect that your password is compromised, it's sensible that you change it.
Did you find that the location settings were wrong from both mobile and landline or just 1? Your ISP will partly be used for most services, to help to identify your location. There may have been some network tweaks etc, that have been underway. You state it's okay today and you seem located closer to Leeds than Birmingham to me. |

Are you using the feature connected to wifi or 4G - 5G?
My IP address on my router can put me in Glasgow or Manchester, when I hundreds of miles away. Just a thought. |

I was just going to recommend, just change your password, you shouldn’t have to delete your account because you think someone might be logged in, just simply change the password and that should fix it but make it hard and if that fails and you still think someone is logged in, I would have your phone checked for possible malware that may be installed on your phone, just to be cautious |

I didn’t realise but I did have my Wi-Fi on which automatically uses my home network, ive been told that it can happen tho I wouldn’t have expected that as surely it would be my IP address!
Still no response from Admin tho!! |
