Would it be possible to have some standard quick hit button/drop-down list of standard replies to emails.
I think it's a bit not to reply to an email.
Maybe;
Thanks, but no thanks.
You don't match our profile.
We have enough to be getting on with.
Were not looking for single men at the moment.
We are taking a break and only looking at the moment.
I'm sure if it's possible, we could have a forum thread asking for a few suggestions

The thanks but no thanks is a good idea, however it wont stop a reply of "why not" or "whats wrong with me" hence the reason some people just don't reply to anyone they are not interested in.
We have both yet to understand why people moan about not being sent a no thanks? do people think an inbox full of no thanks messages are a good thing? Although it's nice to get a reply, the mere fact someone doesn't reply tells you its a no thanks. |

maybe the block box could be tick, so the person is blocked if they don't respect the 'no thanks' message. For me at least I know that person is not interested and respect that
I''m never sure if they don't say anything, if they have enough friends or too many to filter to add new ones.

naughty_kitty, whats a stupid message when it's at home?
I notice you don't play and only here to chat to friends...Which I guess lowers your input... |

I agree that perhaps a quick reply system is a good idea.
I will also back Kitty's argument up, just because people are not playing at the moment that does not lower their input into the forums.
There are many people who have genuine reasons why they are not playing, I for example have had an operation and have been told that I am unable to do anything for 4 weeks, nearly up I may add.
You should not assume that people who are not playing are just here to chat and do not want to swing. We are all adults and everyone's opinion is a valid one and as important as the next, even if we do not agree with it sometimes. |

I don't think having a 'thanks but no thanks' button will make any difference, I mean how long does it actually take to write that anyway? If they wanted to say it they would... |
