I don't know if I'm in the minority for this but it would be great if the "who's nearby" section would let you know how close you are from someone if you are really close e.g. 2 minutes walk away etc |

Many people have requested in the past that they have some discretion over not pinpointing their precise location. In rural, remote locations, it could also be possible to identify exact homes, for example, where people are, should Fab reveal very detailed information. |

Crazy statement that is In all honesty dude 🫣 Surely there has to be some sort of protection distance that would keep someone at least a safe distance if some loon was using the site with majorly bad intentions!
Maybe there could be a selection feature in the future tho where the account holder had the ability to share there exact location with there own unique PIN code when an arranged meet was agreed and both party’s was say within 500 yards , Also could be a way in the future for the site to be able to have more control of who of its member are meeting who and safe locations are documented maybe 🤷♂️ |

Everyone's comments are fair, i clearly wasn't thinking about stalkers and such my thoughts were more along the likes of not precise details but just general type of thing.
My logic was more of if you were browsing and saw that someone was really close you could drop them a message and see about meeting. |

It already gives you 1/4 of a mile. Is that not close enough?

And as if by magic my location pop up that asks for permission each time I log in has now got two options.
Excat and neighbourhood.
Im selecting neighbourhood because I'm quite rural and exact would get you to my door.

I had someone start off messaging me 8 miles from me, and was driving about until it said quarter mile, and then he started messaging me the house names he could see.
(Very rural place i was saying so not many houses in a quarter mile)
That freaked me out.
If you're close, say hi, have a chat, invite them out, you don't need to know their coordinates |
