Responding to a message from couple who have blocked single males

It's probably been asked before but I'm not sure how to search for it. If a profile that has blocked messages from single men initiate contact and send a single male a message, can he respond? Or does the message get filtered?

When they message you first they've crossed the filter and you can reply

Same with age filters

Yes. As the poster above states, when people message another who would have been a profile filtered out by their settings, the filter no longer applies to that profile they've messaged
