This site would be 100 million times better if you actually had to be at the very least photo verified to make a profile. It literally takes 2 mins to do and doesn’t breach anyone’s privacy if they want to stay anonymous. It would get rid of almost all the fake profiles and save everyone a hell of a lot of time with time wasters. The site is free so it’s not like they would be losing revenue. Don’t understand it tbh 🤷🏼♂️ |

A profile can get photo verified then post photo's of different people, we seen it many times. One profile even had a photo of the late Barbara Windsor and Sid James. Photo verification is best taken with a pinch of salt. |

"Some people post pictures that they like rather than saying they are dead people , if anyone sees pics like that , if you report they are removed"
Haha
Can't wait to see a profile with the words.
"Please note the photos are neither recent or of us.
They only show dead people who are unfortunately, like us, timewasters".
🤣🤣🤣 |

Being photo verified doesn’t mean you have to have pictures on your profile. Verification pictures are sent to site admin to verify & not displayed on your profile by default. |

I think if photo verification if made essential for all new users, would probably reduce the volume of people here.
New.inquisitive people won't typically have the level of trust in Fab that we do, so some of them will be wary of giving much trust away, for a site that they won't even know if it could be any good or relevant to them. It likely means that we could lose some potential users who would fit in perfectly.
Keeping Fab free to use is a great, barrier-free principle and strategy. It helps to sustain it as incredibly popular and to continue to grow. If other barriers are then imposed, this weakens the open nature that drives its success.
Currently, Fab does restrict use to some users, unless they photo verify, so at least has experience of how it may impact use. Plus, as it's computerised, can at least implement greater, selective, scrutiny of newer people.
I lean more towards retaining openness, with strong scrutiny of newer people. |

With respect, we'd disagree.
Volume is not an issue on the site at all in our opinion, appreciate those joining out of curiosity and may not be prepared to take the 'leap'..
But as OP states it's not difficult or invasive, believe those who won't get photo verified should have no access to the pictures of those who have.
Whilst any site is fallible, it does allow tourists and fakes their fix, while increasing the vigilance genuine members have to employ.

"Can't you just ignore non photo verified people?"
Theoretically absolutely!
However they still show and can message and bluntly it's just a symbol displayed, so the number of times we've not registered whether they have or not we'd be guessing at.. |

It's a little odd to me that in the UK porn now requires age verification by numerous means, but this place doesn't.
It's almost like fake accounts are encouraged to bolster the numbers
Almost. |

Don’t see a problem with everyone being photo verified it’s not shown on your profile just proves to everyone on site you are genuine. In my opinion it’s a good idea and would cut out fake profiles. |
