New feature.
We've added new options for blurring attached images if you choose to. Any message with attachments has a link to set your preferences.
You can choose to blur all (and tap/click to unblur) or blur all except from people you've messaged or blur all except from friends.
Please let us know feedback here.

I'd like it if the blur setting options were linked to the type/category we select when the photo is first uploaded.
That way I could, for example, have my options set to not blur face or fully clothed pics, but do blur X-rated pics.
As it is I'm still going to accidentally see a bunch of dicks I don't want to see. |

Ok I've actually tried it now. I'd be interested in a statement from Fab on what the intention of the feature is? As it is hard to provide feedback on whether it is working correctly or not without knowing the expected effect.
I've set mine to blur all, because I'm sick of seeing dick pics without giving consent for it. I have now received a message with a photo - it is successfully blurred. However I don't know, without unblurring, if I have just been saved from seeing an unwanted penis or whether this chap has sent me something civilised.
If we presume he did send a dick pic though, the blurring is functionally pointless, because his profile pic is a dick pic. So I've blocked willies from being in my inbox...and yet I still see willies in my inbox because the profile pic sits beside every single message. |

Strange, since this new feature... I can't view images sent to me. Anyone else experiencing this |

What’s the point? Was anyone asking for this? So many other features or options you could be adding. The site hosts people committing multiple breaches of the OSA every day and this is where your development time is spent? |

Anything that means I'm not faced with an array of unsolicited penis portraits when I open my inbox is a positive improvement.
There seem to be a few glitches where people can't unblur the images, but other than that I think it's a good idea.

Yes, lots of people who asked not to see cock pics in their mailboxes, this is an option not to see cock pics in your mailbox.
If you have seen people breaking any rules of the site ( which are the same and more than the OSA regs ) then please report so it is dealt with.
Before anyone says nothing gets done, trust me, it does or you wouldn't all be here typing. |

This is great to have clarification of the intended purpose of the feature.
As I have said above, it does not deliver this though. Let's say a man messages me, I like his message, profile looks ok, he's attached a pic, I've got blur on. I unblur the pic because it might be his face - but it's his cock. Now I've seen it, and I didn't want to. Whereas if the blur setting was linked to the choice you make via radio button when you upload the photo (not rude/boobs and bums/x rated etc), then I would know whether I was about to unblur an xrated pic OR i could set my setting to only blur xrated pics and then I'd see faces in my inbox but cocks would be blurred and I'd know not to press it.
Also, it's absolutely pointless blurring the pics attached to messages while continuing to allow X rated profile pics. Even with the blur on, if a man has a dick pic as his profile pic, I see it next to the message in my inbox, and when i open the message thread i see it beside every message he sends me, and at the top of the thread. The new feature only blocks one of multiple ways I see cocks I don't want to see.
My suggestion would be that the blur setting isn't about inboxes only, but site wide and set by photo type. I could then set my setting to blur ALL X-rated photos, including profile pics and attached to messages. That way, I would know what I'm about to see if I choose to hit unblur. |

For clarity , there may be other reasons for this change that I am not aware of. My answer was to the poster asking why put it in when no one has asked for it,I was confirming people have been asking for a blur on photo's in mails.
Your feedback is in the right place for Admin to see

I would like it so the user can set blurred photos on there profile if they choose to so people visiting the profile have to actively click to see it. So that if someone wants to view a cock pic on my profile they have to choose to unblur it. Id also like to be able to change order of photos. |

This would work if when the pics are submitted and categorised, that people are honest in whether it's X rated or not, that the pic mods correctly categorise too |

Not sure, if this is a practical feature, maybe quite the contrary.
It a shame of wasted resources, when so many other features are missing. To name a few:
- ability to sort your photos and show them in the order
- on a search, ability to edit the filter on the fly
- Fix who's around, it is so buggy
- Fix the live status update. You see somebody on line, click the profile to find out it has logged off like 8 mins ago
- and many others
The app still has a great service but still in the 1990s |

Those are good suggestions but
The pictures and what's legal I would imagine is a priority |
