Hello there.
Recently I've had quite a few people contact me who I recall had different ages stated on their profile. I believe they're doing this to bypass the age limit filters and I'm finding it ridiculous.
I believe date of birth shouldn't be a detail that can be changed on a whim. I understand some people may enter it incorrectly, fair enough. They could simply contact the admin to sort it. However when I see a bloke changing his age every few days, it really does take the mickey.
Filters are there for a reason. I'm blocking those who I know are lying about their age, but I still think this is an important issue to bring up. |

Think that would just lead to double/triple profiles which is great for site numbers but not so good for the users like us
People usually give themselves away anyway but one idea might be not to state a prefered an age range at all or put 18-100 whatever it is. That way you can choose on an individual age basis who you do and dont want to see.

I posted a forum few weeks back about same thing, admin said were going to stop date of birth being changed, prob take a year though, as around a year ago said going to introduce more filters and still waiting |

That's counter-productive really. I'd then get messages off people who don't fit my preferred age range. I don't have time to sift through loads of messages. Is it really too much to ask for the date of birth to not be editable? You'll find most websites don't allow you to. |

Yes! I've found this recently. Very annoying. |
