Site wasn't as quick as we'd have liked (again) last night from around 7pm til 11pm and we know some people had problems getting into (old style) chat.

We've added 6 hours to every site supporters pass to make good. The site should always be fast and usable and if it isn't, we'll always take the hit.

We have some new kit on order for key parts of the fabswingers system. We hope that this will be installed within the next fortnight and it should resolve these occasional slow patches.

We're having to work behind the scenes to make sure we're keeping up with the growth and there will be the odd hiccup. Sorry!

Its been discussed in other parts of the forum and indeed chat that maybe archiving or deleting old profiles may help with things.

So many times you do a search and find profiles that have not been accessed for many months or a year.

How about an auto mail, maybe more of an advertising email, listing new features of the site to these profiles after so many weeks/months of inactivity. If then, they dont log back on then another reminder and then finally deletion or archiving (if it saves space) of the account.

Im sure this process could be automated, the only admin input been to update the first reminder email with updates on the site.

Just a thought....
