why does near me say im in south east england i couldnt be further away, last week said i was in dumfries never been there either

it's probably your IP (where you connect to the internet from). Maybe your internet provider is using servers from those areas you're 'near'.

if they're repairing the internet there then it's likely they are using servers somewhere else. seems really far away the ones they're using though.
