Why some feel the urge to post nonsense is beyond me 
OP, you can only be winked by a profile on site "Once"
If you've received emails stating you've been winked by blah, blah, blah, and nothings showing on your account, it means they've winked you previously.

I was thinking it is the post he quoted, which isn't the OP, but wasn't sure as one was a question and the other was someone trying to help.
Now if that person has made a mistake with their help, it still doesn't make it nonsense, it just makes it a mistake.

Posting misleading answers is nonsense as it doesn't answer the OP question, how can it be a mistake?
If peeps seek specific advice to which I have no knowledge of, I'd rather not reply than post nonsense which doesn't assist anyone  |

It is a mistake for the person posting it if they have posted the wrong answer. Maybe they thought it was the right answer and why they didn't refrain from answering.
Maybe when you decide you have the perfect answer you could be less rude about other peoples. |

This is the only answer from Admin that I can find on phantom winks ( If there are any more someone else might know where they are).
I don't know if things have been fixed since,or if they have that they have got a bug again... but Admin answer on here.

I don't believe I was being rude, I gave my opinion, just as you've posted yours.
There's a difference between posting a fact and posting an opinion, the post in question was posted as a fact, which is why I replied.

It is a site help section, people were trying to help. And their posts were valid.....they were not as fact as the first answer said "probably" and the second answer elaborated how he could find out if someone had left the site.
So yes, maybe you should exit. |
