Hey all

Just wondering if any of you have had this before.

I was chatting to a female pretty much all day long and then suddenly I couldn't send a message.

The reason the person has left the site.

2 seconds letter all trace of their messages in my inbox and all to them from me in my outbox disappeared.

Does isn't and doesn't seem the same as when someone blocks you because the messsges usually remain.

Have any of you encountered this before and what does it mean?

I'm hazarding a guess that they were removed by admin but I'm unsure if admin can even read our messages and do such a thing.

Thanks

Sometimes when a member leaves the messages disappear too, other times they stay as unlos. They probably just got cold feet and left XXX

Yeah usually it’s either a fake, or it’s a bloke that got spooked and didn’t want his wife to find out!

We get them all the time! Just makes getting through the messages a bit quicker C x

Hi OP, Admin can read anything you post to the site, including private messages. cc

I'd image its an automated response.

When you permanently delete your profile all content from messages is removed.

Data protection would probably mandate this. Forum posts will remain and the name will show as unlos, as forum posts are public posts.

Really sorry to hear that. I would hope that if you wanted to report them then admin could help with any enquiry. I'm no IT expert but they should be able to read the message and identify any key traits such as ip address or registered email. If the abuse crosses into harassment then if you wanted to you they may be able to help if you need the police to step in.

Online abuse can just be the thin edge of a person who can be abusive in other aspects of life.

I get that on a regular basis too. Have reported the messages to admin, no changes just yet...
