Who thinks that places actually in East Anglia e.g. Cambridge, Peterborough, and others, should be listed under a new region called "East Anglia" rather than under "East Midlands" as at present

Great idea, the East Midlands covers a huge area and Norwich is a long way from anywhere in the East Midlands (as well as the rest of civilisation). A distance-ometer would be a massive bonus too!

if the search could be 25-50-100-200 miles it would be so much better

"if the search could be 25-50-100-200 miles it would be so much better "

This seems like a good idea unless your me and live in the middle of nowhere!!

I live over 30 mins from Edinburgh (by car) but on a well known catalogue companys website it says their store in the middle of Edinburgh is only 18 miles away ermmm no its more than that its about 45 miles away lol

It all depends what you use for the distance as that site must use crows miles rather than actual miles cos I cant cross straight to Edinburgh via the Forth without using the bridge my hovercraft is in the shop or didnt they know that lol

Hi!

Sorry to reignite this, but it really would be rather useful to have an East Anglia, we were looking for a meet recently and it would have been easier to search East Anglia rather than taking to a postcode level!

Whilst you're at it, how's about dividing Wales up a bit too?

I agree too, as I am very fond of EA, as was educated in Suffolk for 4y and lived in Norfolk for 10y.

I still go up to Norfolk regularly to visit friends and family!

Happy days!

Agree with Dev's idea as even in some regions it can be easier to travel into another region

For example from us ... Birmingham, Bristol & Peterborugh are pretty much equi-distant, yet some closer places are harder to get to (e.g. Brighton) becasue of routes like the M25
