Just a thought is it worth breaking out TS TV and CD to allow people to more openly express what they identify as? Understand this may be more challenging than just a extra tick box but may make the site experience better and allow people to find what they are looking for easier?

There have been numerous threads on this subject and just about every one ends up in an arguement that nobody wins and tends to divide even more. Everyone has their own view, and rightly so, but threads on this subject are very emotive to say the least... |

Yep. Tricky subject.
And I see a lot of misunderstanding and division within the CD TV TS world alone. Let alone outside of it.
Ultimately I would like a separate option of TV as that is how I currently identify. But it seem the powers that be are not that keen to give too many options.
The weather is great tho so enjoy everyone and be whoever you want to be. Labels are pretty pointless anyway. |

I've been on here 10 years now and I've had no problem sharing this little group. It's worked well so why change anything. |

In this day and age of gender neutral this would only open up a can of worms (apparently there are over 70 different genders now) don't ask me what they are but you can basically call yourself what you want when you want. |

I can understand you saying whats the difference between a cd and a tv.
But come on there is a world of difference between a tv and a ts
For starters a ts lives as a woman 24/7, believes themselves to be a woman from the soul and in the wrong body.
And vast majority are going through a transistion either surgery or hormones.

But come on there is a world of difference between a tv and a ts

Is there a, world of difference. Apart from the obvious features I think not. If a ts wants to be called a woman.. Fair enough she is female but this CD. Ts. TV group is fine as it is, with me. You can't specialise and cater for an even smaller minority than we already are |

Woahhhh slow down there.
I never once said that ts was better than a tv or cd or a man or a women.
I said there is a huge difference between a TS and a TV.
Anyone that says different is a liar.
I see this debate coming up time and time again and its only the tvs that want to keep it all together.
Ts girls want to seperate them.
Not that many ts use the forums if any at all.
But there was one TS a year or 2 ago called jodie or somthing who was very vocal on the forums asking for ts to be seperated.
Think she left the site because of it.
Why should somome whos struggled from very early age, gone through hell going through doctors and hospital appointments for medications and surgery be put in the same catagory as a guy named fred who drives truck and likes to wear a dress on a weekend (using an example and made up this person).
It is a bit unfair on TS people i think.
But hey ho there is no vocal ts on here so will just be all the cd and tv all saying leave it as it is. |

unfair? You see you are putting them on some sort of pedastal. I've been doing this a v v long time. I'm happy to be part of the same group so why can't a TS be happy sharing. Failing that join the female group then. It's not rocket science like some of you make out |

Whether you are a CD, or a TV or a Ts. You were all born male. So by transitioning you then become female. What is difficult to understand. Read a profile properly and correctly and there should be no confusion. Some people on here really do like stirring things up. Just give it a rest. And stop these pathetic threads which seem to stir things up. Of course there are some on the forums who like nothing better than causing a stir or two. It's wearing thin this type of thread. We all have a life and we are all on here for some fun. I do not accept a ts merits a special little group for themselves. There's a world of difference between the likes of me and a CD. The generally accepted term for those under the Rainbow flag is LGBT latterly LGBTQ+. Initially it was only LGB, the T was then added and stands for Transgender and is taken as to mean anyone on the Trans Spectrum so that would include the TV/TS grouping from here so if Admin were to change it would be appropriate to use the generally accepted Transgender and then it would be down to the individual to further compartmentalise if they so wish via their profile.
Why Admin would wish to have multiple subsect labels with the minefield of who polices it and how, i dont know. |
