*There is one Doctor in the village . ( Port Ambonne ) . Entrance is beside Pizza Flora . *
*Should you require an speaking English Doctor there is one in Cap d Agde near Aqualand. You simply turn up and queue *
* Dr Christophe Crabiers, Ave De La Butte, 34300 Cap D'Agde. . Speaks English, is quite witty, very approachable. His clinic is within half a mile of the gates to the main Cap naturist site. Afternoon clinic, no appt required. Pay him directly, typically €25*
Hospital . Bus services 1 , 2 and 3 all stop outside the hospital . You can just turn up to the accident and emergency department
*Testing for STIs is available at a clinic in Beziers . Private tests in France are inexpensive compared to the UK *
* There is a chemist as the entrance to the village *

Fingers crossed and crossed again we are planning on travelling to Cap in late September. We know that in usual times that is when some of it closes but we have been before at that time and it's been great, even if it's only the Bodega open it will be a world away from where we are now.

Just arrived today (April 1st to 11th) staying at Natureva Spa with Leanna 69. Looking to meet couples and singles for fun . It's very quiet here right now so I guess we'll be having fun on the beach or in the apartment. Xx |

I definitely want to go at some point with a friend - not so sure about going there by myself although I’m quite decent at French  . But will need to wait till after covid for sure (and definitely want both vaccinations before I go anywhere!).

Apart from the shortages and vaccine skepticism the roll-out in France has an essential difference to the UK.
In the UK we are used to the bureaucracy of the NHS whereby ‘they contact you’ to give you medical appts. and vaccines appts.
In France it’s ‘up to you’ to book your appts.
There are certain advantages, last week after seeing our GP and getting referral letters we managed to book 3 different consultants and a hospital visit all within 3 weeks.
However when we try to book a vaccine we are told there are none.
It really is pot-luck here, our 40yr old cousin was vaccinated within 2 days of arriving here on holiday whereas our 91 year old neighbour can’t get one yet.
Given that only about 15% have had the vaccine in the last 3 months I fear that France will still be stuck with this plague well into the year. |

Still going last two weeks in June, AGN have said pay when you get there and any problems we can move dates.
Curfew still on for 23.00 - 06.00 hrs, but better than being here, went last Sept and like this time will be different but still worth it for us as the neighbours don't like us wondering about in the buff in the garden. |

This is not confirmed yet. The current rule is you have to be double vaccinated and have a negative covid test before entering France. "
I re entered France last week with three of my children and I was the only one with double vaccination but we did all indeed have the negative antigen test results.

Hello. You will have the choice of using one of the booking platforms or the services of a number of agencies based in the village. You have chosen the most expensive time to go as it is the French national holiday. If you are after good quality accommodation expect to pay up to 1000 Euros per week in the village. When booking check that the accommodation is actually in the village. You do not want to be paying a premium rate for accommodation outside the village . Your other option might be hotel eve if it is not fully booked . I would check to ensure that any photos of the apartments on offer are recent. You can also check the ratings of direct bookings on the site booking. You might be lucky this year and find a few last minute sales. There is still a lot of uncertainty over travel to Cap this year . |

We caught Covid last year exactly in Cap d'Agde. This year we did two things if it happens again :
1) brought e_tra flight tickets back to the UK (10 days after our original flight)
2) HSBC insurance. It kind of cover expenses if something goes wrong bc of Covid,including accommodation. |

It is very easy and accessable. I am unvaccinated, so therefore I need an antigen test every 48 hours. It's as easy and quick as ordering a hamburger!
5 popup locations every evening around the village. I use the one outside Waiki @ 9.00pm. It takes approximately 3 minutes and you must bring your photo id. It costs 20 euros and it is so easy and efficient. You can scan the QR code to your phone and walk into any nightclub etc stress free.
The reason I am putting this up is to put people's minds at ease, if they are concerned about travelling.

5 popup locations every evening around the village. I use the one outside Waiki @ 9.00pm. It takes approximately 3 minutes and you must bring your photo id. It costs 20 euros and it is so easy and efficient. You can scan the QR code to your phone and walk into any nightclub etc stress free.
The reason I am putting this up is to put people's minds at ease, if they are concerned about travelling.

Depending on what you are looking for all the bars and clubs are pretty much open and it is as busy as i remember towards the end of july. The main clubs are glamour and tantra which you must wear trousers and shoes in glamour. the main bars are all around by the harbour like Piloutery and melrose, lelook and too many more to mention. without reading too many other replies in this thread but we have just arrived back from cap and go back next week but we only found a few issues.
1 the foam part without foam did not accept our uk vaccine passport but i guess that would depend who is on the door that day because glamour excepted it and most other places apart from lelook.
Now thats out of the way the swingers beach is to the east of the complex with Parallia bar in the mix of it
all areas were open as before but le jardin of eden had lost its liquor licence
There are testing stations on site and there is a chemist outside the main gate for travel testing. i could go on but it would take forever and i am not very good at explaining things it comes out all jumbled lol. Not too many from the uk about but it was still great atmosphere |
