Just read a piece in todays Times.

It says "President Macron's government has been criticised for allowing swingers clubs to open next week while keeping discos shut. It is the result of a legal anomaly which mean that some swingers clubs are classified as bars rather than nightclubs. Those with saunas are classified as indoor sports venues and can reopen on June 9."

Certainly brought a smile to our faces!

That's brilliant, never let government rules get in the way of logic or common sense!

Plus I suspect that far more French politicians want to visit a swingers club or sauna than a nightclub

A country full of red tape and bureaucracy, I love the French are leading the way. I assume those political decision makers will be able to discreetly attend wearing their face masks.

Great post

Things are looking brighter for Cap D Adge this year. Now we have just got to get there with not too much hassle etc from Boris and expensive testing

The "clubs reopens on the 19th of may" is a clickbait by newspapers.

There is a loophole that favors some swingers ckubs.

The decree allowing business to reopen are based on a code that you receive when you create the company.

Some swingers clubs are under Restaurant, others nightclubs etc..this is why some swingers clubs can reopen the 19th of May but for the outdoor restaurant..Dont think lot of people do that

Some may reopen end of june but not all (if for example they registered as night club"
