Allways better to stay within the village, but expensive too. Rene Oltra camping is a good budget choice (tent or chalets). Staying outside means driving in-out once-twice a day, and people and car passes are more expensive than with a reservation inside.

Take plenty of cash! We were there once and the internet went down so none of the restaurants could take payment other than cash. Then everyone rushed to the banks for cash withdrawals and they ran out too . This was the Friday of a bank holiday so the banks never got anymore until the following Tuesday.

It spoilt a lot people’s holiday apparently.
