Cap - June 2022-Accomodation Help!

Shrewsbury

We've spent the past two hours trying to choose some accommodation but we're going around in circles. So many contradictory reviews. We'd prefer a hotel over the the studios that only seems to leave two choices- Ozin and Natureva Spa. However, some very conflicting write ups on these.

Are these too far away from the clubs and nightlife or are they convenient and actually far enough away that we can unplug from the evening mayhem if we wanted to? Would we feel on the outside of the experience (we've read that there is a better day to day social scene in the apartment blocks).

Just a bit worried that we would feel cooped up in one of the studios as we're unlikely to be on the beach all day but on the other hand we want to easily meet other couples.

Any advice from others who've had similar struggles gratefully received.

Cambridgeshire

Both are close enough to the evening clubs to walk with ease. We find you can get downtime at Cap, though there is sometimes some noise as expected. Our feeling is it's invigorating more than annoying, last year we were above Eros and their sound system was so good we actually quite liked the bass reaching our appartment! Maybe because Cap is just such a buzz, as normally in vanilla hotels we are quite noise sensitive!

We personally book an appartment via AGN (their English is good and email turnaround professional), if out of hours they leave the keys and map in envelope at the 24 hour village reception and we go from there. The last 2 times we arrived around 11pm having driven from Marseille. Our personal default choice is an appartment. Have a great time, Cap is amazing!

Would echo the above. Heliopolis are probably the quietest apartments, but only a couple of minutes walk from the action. Pick first or second floor for a nice view plus privacy.

Call AGN , they speak perfect English and are very helpful.

Agde

First of all, everywhere in the village is within a 10 minute stroll, so you won’t be far from things wherever up stay.

Secondly, hotels can be restrictive in allowing guests back to your room. Apartments are obviously easy to invite people back. And that’s where most fun is had, despite the huge number of clubs in the village.

Next consider the price, nowhere is cheap but Oz’Inn is eye wateringly expensive, Natureva less so.

Port Nature is fairly central but you will get noise from the clubs.

Apartments would get our vote for the freedom it allows, impromptu soirées and playing in your own place rather than a club makes for a great holiday..!

And if you decide that it’s not what you were after, you’ll have to come back next year and try again….

Cap d Agde in May 23 and September 23 Meals in the apartment , horse riding and boat trips

The posters above have given good advice. All clubs are easily accessible within the village. Unless someone has money to burn, it would be externally difficult to justify the cost of staying in the Ozz Inn. Apartments are a lot cheaper and will range from the very poor to top quality and again sizes vary from 15 square metres to 30 square metres . Prior to booking check the pictures and ensure that they are recent. Also check that you are booking accommodation within Village Naturiste and not Cap d Agde itself. For first timers that would be an easy mistake to make . Accommodation via agents include Peng Travel , AGN , Resid and Sylvianne Bonne . For independent bookings try booking dot com . If using this site check the reviews and pictures prior to booking .

For fun and pleasure you can use the money saved by booking an apartment to visit the Sauna or various clubs . You may also if lucky receive invites to private parties.

One word of warning. Everything in Cap is expensive. All the fun and pleasure comes at a price. First time visitors probably take time to adopt to the high prices . Assuming you enjoy Cap on your next visit you just accept that the prices are worth paying. Others may consider it overpriced and never return .

Hi,

You have missed out the Jardin d Eden and the Jardin de Babylon.

Eden is great and very central and comfortable, but about 300 Euros a night. Babylon is near Natureva a bit on the outskirts, but significantly less expensive than Eden. Have a look on the AGN website.

Apartments will be cheaper and we can recommend Heliopolis, but most are rented Saturday to Saturday so make sure you check this out. Resid and AGN both very helpful.

Xx

It is also important to check how often they change the bedsheets, take out trash, and clean the toilets.

AGN let you change all your linen a couple of times a week. You have to drop off the dirty stuff and collect fresh from their laundry which is underneath Heliopolis just past 1664. Actually you can do it as often as you like if you tip the very nice girl a few euros, but have Google translate with you as she doesn't speak a word of English!

Babylon used to do it daily, which was very appreciated since we were going at it like rabbits...

Anyone who is going from mid May onwards and is a mosquito magnet should be sure to take their favourite mosquito repellent!! The blighters come in swarms of mini midges to huge tiger mosquitos who's bite in June itches till November.

We have a place outside the village in the marina, we have stayed in hotels in the village and we rent apartments. So hopefully a bit qualified on all options. Our view is avoid the . com DIY stuff if you are a first timer. We almost ended up underneath the stairs in one block- photographed really well. Use an agent and deffo go for the apartment option. Duplexes aren't much dearer than studios and give you a bit more space. Port Nature gets our vote for the 'walks of shame' and sea views. Duplex in June is around 200 euros a night and as previously said - you get the impromptu convenience as well. If just dipping your toes and want to sample it without the expense- buy a three day pass and come and go as you please - used to be @ 45 euros.

I found Natureva spa over priced and too far out of the way .

The Bagnas behind it lead to all sorts of flys and midges getting in the room .

Stick to the Studios were you are in amongst the party /Neighbourly atmosphere xx

We stayed at Natureva spa last year. A lovely hotel with a great location.

Lovely big rooms, would definitely recommend it.

The indoor pool was also lovely to relax in , either first thing on the morning or before you get ready to go out x
