We need to spend some time over at the Cap but need to go with our Dau. We are a naturist family and are often found on the beaches further south but have always been a bit wary of the Cap for a family trip.

Has anyone been for the naturism only? Where did you stay?

Thanks

Most of Cap d'Agde is naturist only in theory, but you're going to find a lot of sexy lingerie shops, and you're going to see a lot of people promenading in that lingerie in the evenings. It's a very sex orientated place.

When we went there, there were very, very few children, though we've heard that there may be more in the French school holidays.

It may also be better if you stick strictly to the campsite.

The bit of beach you need to avoid is quite easy to avoid.

There are plenty of families on the beach at the cap area. The first two thirds of the beach is family friendly, its on the far end of the beach near the textiles where the naughties happen.

In the cap village you don't tend to see any families, cant comment on the camping area though.

Lots of families on the campsite and the beach opposite. Nothing overtly sexual on either during the day but you will see people walking through the campsite in very sexy outfits in the evenings, so it depends whether you are comfortable with your family seeing that.

Our daughter went with us to Cap from the age of 4 to 16 as it was a great place for a family naturist holiday. Everything is on hand, choice of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, a bakers, butchers, etc..Plus a great beach (the swingers bit is a tiny part of the beach and very easy to avoid).

We've stayed as a family in Port Nature Colline 1, Heliopolis and on the campsite.

When we go now we rent one of the chalets on the campsite. The camp site is naturist and family friendly.

She had a great time there making friends with dutch, german, french kids who would meet up every year.
