Cap d Agde 2024 - Single Guy advice
Jump to: Newest in thread
Sounds like it's a place worth visiting but know zero about it.
Any tips/guidance greatly welcomed
For single guys, is it accessible in terms of clubs/parties
Cost, extreme or reasonable
Where to fly into/travel
Accommodation, where to stay
Places to go there.
And any other wisdoms, sadly no reviews on Thomas Cook
Thanks |

Thanks" . Single guys can have a great time provided they accept that Cap is an expensive place . You will need to allow £1000 for accommodation and another £1000 minimum spending money. All clubs inside the gate are within walking distance of each other. |

My advice, find a partner to go with, access all areas to get the full Cap experience, you'll end up spending the same money, going as a single guy you will get limited access, and will probably spend all your time with all the other single blokes on pigs beach queuing and crowding to get your dick sucked.
On another note, i'm not sure you can get access as a single man unless you have accommodation booked inside the walls you might want to check this out?
Accommodation is not cheap, especially at the last minute. |

For single guys, is it accessible in terms of clubs/parties. PARTIES NO (You may be able to voyeur the exhibitionist ones only) unless you work hard to befriend other couples. CLUBS YES but very pricey for guys.
Cost, extreme or reasonable. EVERYTHING VERY EXPENSIVE even supermarkets, LIdl quality at Waitrose / M&S prices!
Where to fly into/travel BEZIERS always with prebooked taxi to resort Any other way else just isn’t worth the hassle.
Accommodation, where to stay GOOD LUCK finding any this late!
Places to go there. NO NEED, you can easily just forget about the real world and remain in the Vilage for your whole stay!
And any other wisdoms, sadly no reviews on Thomas Cook
Thanks"

Where to fly into/travel?
Nearest airport is Beziers. Not too many flights from UK but check out Ryanair. After that it's Montpellier.
Cost, extreme or reasonable?
Cost at Cap d'Agde and reasonable should never appear in the same sentence.
Accommodation, where to stay?
If you are thinking about this year it will be what you can get. It's now peak season and most apartments will be booked solid for this year. It's a very short season and it will be pretty much finished by mid Sept.
For single guys, is it accessible in terms of clubs/parties?
Some of the clubs are single guy friendly (at a price) Tantra and the sauna's for example, but foam/pool parties are couples only. The beach is open to all.

Firstly as a single guy you absolutely need to pre-book your accommodation & turn up with proof or you may not get in unless you are a member of a French Naturist club.
Prices are high, absolutely right. Clubs can be a bit crazy, sometimes agressive, in terms of numbers of single guys, but there are plenty of couples looking to play.
Make sure you have AC, or it'll be very uncomfortable. Also check sheets are included....
The beach is....interesting, but far too crowded whenever there is any Activity.
I have visited both as a solo guy and once or twice with female company. For sure having a lady on your arm helps, but really if you cant have fun at the Cap.....

Good point about the bedding. We always drove down so were able to take our own. But many apartments don't include it. |

Can be done cheaply as a single man...you can stay on the campsite for a few hundred euros, enjoy the beach, go to the sauna and pool (expensive but for a few hours worth it) and normal bars. I'd avoid the expensive clubs and bars that rip off single men regardless if I had the money to spend or not. |
