yes you need to buy pass I haven’t been for a few years I think you now get a wristband

It's gated at entrance to the village and police patrol and may ask for you entrance card

It's the policy and it works

Rules are rules

Some people obviously don't obey and occasionally get gathered up by police

You can also park up in Marseillan Plage and walk along the beach. No day pass needed for that!
