Guess it's the modern day equivalent of a Roman orgy....
The foam is just one small part, there are lots of beds around a central jacuzzi which can seat dozens of people.
No clothing or shoes allowed and it's couples only.
On a busy day there are hundreds of naked people enjoying open air sex in front of.... well, hundreds of other people....!!
If you want to reserve a bed it will cost you €60 otherwise you pay €25 and have to be quick and at the front of the queue when they open at 14h00.
Soft drinks are €5 and you're not allowed to bring you own. Take a very small waterproof bag for condoms or lube.
It's not too expensive, so give it a try. If you don't like it, there's still going to be action on the beach.

Went a few times last summer in the old venue and enjoyed it, but have family members working there this year and despite the free entry offer have avoided it. Sometimes you don't want to share too much info with your family!
Have heard it's twice as expensive though.
Word of Warning!
On our last visit, last year, he got some foam in his eyes, this led to Foampartyitis which led on to 3 weeks hospital treatment for conjunctivitis and subsequently 2 weeks further treatment for numunar keratitis. The end result was permanent scarring of the edge of the cornea.
Don't want to scare you because it is great fun but just make sure YOU PROTECT YOUR EYES with sunglasses, goggles etc
(also the foam can exacerbate any sores on your body)

Wow, that's a nasty by product of the foam.
We noticed this year the foam wasn't as 'wet' and smelt like Fairy Liquid....!
Think we'll just stay on the edge of the foam next time....!
The price has gone up to €25, a €5 increase on last year, but it has moved with a different layout.
We felt it is now a smaller area than before and a bit more cramped.

It loos as though this Saturday is the last of daily parties ... then it seems to be weekends. Bad timing on our part. We better make sure we get there tomorrow night or Saturday night ... or both! |
