Question to those that go to cap d'adge .... is it any good for single guys... when I look at all the people that say they are going or have been it seems a large number have "not looking for single guys" on there profile .... so if I was to go some time am I going to be out of luck .... ok I'm not everyone cup of tea I except that .... but from the experience of those that go ... have you seen average looking / sized single guys having fun on the beach ...

Thank you for taking the tjne to read and better still the comments / feed back

Agde, France

Most of the single guys on the beach are average in every way....

If you're polite, non-pushy and respectful you'll have fun. Maybe not everyday because you will be just one of many, but it will be fun.

The saunas are also worth a visit, but can work out quiet expensive...

When we go to Cap we ARE looking for single guys and so are many other couples, but to be fair probably the majority are not.

On the beach the competition is stiff (pun intended ) and probably would not be your best bet for some fun other than visually. You may get into one of the beach bukkake sessions but it would be hit and miss (again pun intended )

Should you get a bad weather day then head for the Histories d'O sauna in Port Ambonne. They call it a sauna and there is one in there somewhere, but bottom line is that it is nothing other than a sex club. It gets very busy if the weather isn't good, it can even be fun on other days and in the evenings as well. Many of the couples that are looking for single guys go there quite regularly. We will go there 4 or 5 times during our fortnight.

The downside for single guys is that other daytime activities such as foam and pool parties are restricted to couples only.

In the early evenings either head to the sauna or just network yourself around the smaller bars. Our favourites are "Jonny Wokkers" in Port Nature 1 and the "Bodega Bar" in Port Ambonne. Try to chat to people, some will welcome it others wont, some will just treat it as a friendly chat, others may invite you to join them in one of the clubs or arrange to meet at the beach the following day. Occasionally you could be asked to go back to their apartment and fuck her brains out, who knows?

For later in the evenings (midnight onward) many will head for the clubs. Le Jules is couples only, Le Glamour lets in a few single guys but restricts numbers, Le Tantra and Jeux de Mains are (at a price) single guy friendly and can be very action packed. There is also a fetish club and a German style sex cinema/club but we've not tried either.

To sum up. We think the place is about 50/50 (51/49 when we are there LOL) on being friendly/unfriendly to single guys, in some places welcome (at a price) in others not.

I was in Cap d'Adge last year as a single guy for the first time and every day was filled with some kinky sexy adventure.

The beach isn't really my cup of tea as there are quite allot of single desperate and very pushy guys ready and willing to jump on anything so I just seat back and enjoyed watch some single guys going into a trance running after any lady brave enjoy to walk into the sand dunes

However, I did end up chatting to couples and a single lady on the beach which lead to some fun and a house party invite and even accompany the single lady to Club Le Glamour swingers club.

The saunas, swinger's club and sometimes the bars are good place to find fun without have sand in you butt hole.

Hope you enjoy it this year. One more thing: speaking a little bit of french will go a long way. My french are the time I visited was non-existence and I know I did miss out on some good fun. it's wasn't as much fun fucking a lady that has no english and your only way to express yourself to her during sex is via hand sign language

Port Nature 1 is pretty much in the middle of everything.

It is the closest block to the beach, Jonny Wokkers is down below, Le Tantra and Kamasutra spa are opposite, Le Jules is opposite coline 3/4 just a few metres away. Walk a handful of minutes further to the Melrose, Eros, and various other bars, then cross the road and you are in Port Ambonne for Jeux de Mains, the saunas, sex cinema, and fetish club.

Further out but close enough would be Port Soliel and Port Venus.

You will probably need to budget at least £500 inside the gate. Or if try if too much maybe stat outside the gate and just walk in. It will still cost at least £300.

The cheapest option is camping - bring your own tent. The cost per night is:

22.50€ (15/3-27/4) (9/9-14/10)

30€ (28/4-30/5)(26/8-8/9)

41€ (1/7-20/)(19/8-25/8)

46.80€ (21/7-18/8)

Plus following extras:

Tourist tax 0.66€ pppn.

Booking fee 17€

Cancellation insurance 12€

FFN fee 16.50€ pp - only if you haven't got an INF card.

Hope this helps.

It starts pretty much level with the far end of the camp site, from the lifeguard lookout station onward.

All along the beach you will see people sunbathing but all with a good space between them and others.

Then suddenly all the towels are almost overlapping and you can barely stretch your arms without touching someone. You've just found the swinger section.

With sharp eyes you can even spot it on google earth.

I would just add that it has its own marker and reviews on google maps/earth

look for the "Baie des Cochons" flag. Also remember that in the village itself you can do a virtual walk around on google street view.

Top tip! Not quite sure why we didn't think of Google earthing it and can indeed see the clusters of towels - and some in the dunes

The info on the German site was a bit vague so I wondered if it even existed.

I'm assuming from the location it is in the same building as the pharmacy opposite the bus stop.

I suppose we will have to give it a try this year.

The above poster has pretty much answered your question but I'll expand a little.

There are only 2 actual hotels in the village plus the Jardin Eden and Babylon complexes.

The cheapest (if you could call it that) is Hotel Eve and is quoting a standard double room on your dates at 195€ per night.

Now sit down with a very stiff drink before you read the rest of this....

Got one? OK I'll carry on....

The Ozz Inn for a basic room on your dates is quoting 1726€ for 4 nights. A premium room is quoted at 2606€ and a premium suite is over 6000€

The Eden/Babylon complexes will be somewhere in-between the two.

Apartments a a fair bit cheaper but you will struggle to get one for less than a week especially in high season (expect to pay around 1000€ for a week)

We are thinking of heading back to Cap D'Agde late August with our little one so the family camp site is the only option. Can anyone shed any light on what it's like, what we need to plan for and expect?

Last few times we've been to Cap D'Agde it's been just the two of us naked, wild and free! This time we will just be naked and wild and only "free" when the little one sleeps at night! Is there much fun after dark for couples like us when we get the little one off to sleep?

I wouldn't take a child to the naturist village - full stop.

Agde, France

As above, we wouldn't take a child there either.

The campsite and family beach are certainly OK places for daytime, but evenings are an eye opener, depending the age of the little one of course and how much they can read into the clothing on view.

You obviously wouldn't leave the child alone at night, so you are then restricted to playing in the awning. And being a family site, you'd soon fall foul of the neighbours and site security.

Certainly not trying to moralise here, just to point out the practicalities.

Hope you get something organised so that you can enjoy Cap and all its quirks....

If no one brings their children where is the future of the naturist side of Cap D'Agde, it will just be swingers and that will be boring. You will have to re think your holiday a bit, very subtle would be my take, having said that you might meet another couple with children swop baby sitting duties or something. Just a thought. Have fun

There's plenty of people who do take their children to the naturist village, especially in the peak french holidays.

We went there for years as a naturist family and had a great time and he still speaks fondly of his holidays there.

It's important families maintain their presence, but equally, I wouldnt take mine there.

It's moved a long way in recent years and has got closer and closer to being a swingers resort, or at least a swinger friendly/clothes optional resort..

Last year we sat having a drink and did a count of naked bodies versus clothed ones. Something like 80% were clothed and that was high season.

Not saying it's right but it is changing.

We really hope families keep going there, but think it's becoming more and more difficult.

"Question to those that go to cap d'adge .... is it any good for single guys... when I look at all the people that say they are going or have been it seems a large number have "not looking for single guys" on there profile .... so if I was to go some time am I going to be out of luck .... ok I'm not everyone cup of tea I except that .... but from the experience of those that go ... have you seen average looking / sized single guys having fun on the beach ...

Thank you for taking the tjne to read and better still the comments / feed back

"

Great information. Been to PDI the last two years and people I have met in clubs there say cap d'adge is brilliant if you want to play.

Cap has only a short season, April to late September but it only really gets busy from around mid June to early September. Outside of that it can be quiet, especially midweek.

You can rent apartments through various agents a quick google will get the websites. The apartments are all privately owned so standards can vary quite a lot.

There are 2 hotels. Hotel Eve and Ozz Inn both are on booking dot com.

The purpose built swinger accommodation is Jardin de Eden and Jardin Babylon.

Then there is the camp site. Just run Rene Oltra through google.

Precisely, the Cap is a 3 month resort for swinging.

Outside those dates 15th June to 15th September it's quiet but great for naturists and locals who just want to enjoy being naked in the sun.

We stayed for four days a couple of years ago. The accommodation is just about ok, the pool area is fun but is lol d of gawdy in a 1970s porno sort of way with palm trees painted on the pool screening, hot tub area was nice and right next to the fairly expensive bar

It's secure gated access. We enjoyed it but won't be in a rush to rebook its dear like everywhere else but you get a very basic room

Clean tho

The pool parties are a laugh

Enjoy

We’ve stayed there each year for the past 4-5 years. We loved it!..the accommodation is basic and as mentioned above expensive given the quality..the ambience is fantastic though and that’s what you’re paying for.. the beds are a long line of mattresses with fresh towels provided each day where you lay naked very close to some gorgeous couples with an Ibiza vibe in the background and sexually charged environment.. swimming pool, jacuzzi and all day bar service add to the hedonism that tends to kick off more so after lunch time.. pool parties are amazing but wouldn’t pass any H&S certificate in the uk lol.. at the height we’ve seen c300 couples (maybe more) crowded around the pool.. they’re so much fun.. and you can stay as long or as short stay as you want...we’re trying Eden this year just for a change

We have stayed a Babylone twice a year now for 4 / 5 years. It is pricey for what you get but this is Cap D'Agde.

Clean and comfortable enough. Helpful staff on the desk, unlike Eden. Although it will be all change this year.

Nice pool area and very good bar staff now with Quentin in charge.

You can get access to the pool parties for €20 a couple.

We have also stayed at Eden, which we find can be pretentious.. awful bar staff..

Oh, the Cap is very tolerant but a clothed man on the beach will be very noticeable and probably not a good idea to stay too long on the swinger beach. Otherwise whether he plays or not shouldn’t be a problem, you’ll find all sorts in this den of iniquity!

"After many recomendations finnally trying Cap 13th till 27 June.

Russ Sue"

It all depends on what you want out of your Cap holiday.

I would only book Port Nature if I wanted the full-on Cap experience.

Within the Cap there are 4 large appartment complexes.

These are Heliopolis (the huge horseshoe building), Port Ambonne (semi circle building) and the much quieter Port Soleil on the other side of the little port.

Plus of course the campsite, 3 hotels and resort compexes like Garden of Eden, Babylon and Natureva, and some mini bungalow areas.

Port Nature is in the heart of the resort and is the only place where the 'general public' (mainly single guy) can access without security via the various walkways.

The appartments here tend to be small to miniscule and most front on to walkways which overlook one of the main drags of the resort.

Lots of interactivity with the neighbours is common, especially barbeques, aperos,or just having a sociable good time.

On nearly all the occasions that we have played in Port Nature, at some point somebody has had to shoo away all the guys looking into the appartments (hoping to be invited).

On the other hand we have left 'soirées' and walking down the walkways have seen couples/groups playing in appartments, curtains open, eyeing up passer byes.

So it all depends on what you want

The main side of Port Nature also overlooks the main drag where a number of restaurants, bars and at least 3 swing clubs are located.

Certainly you will get the hum of Cap D'Agde here, more than any other place but don't expect a quiet night in before 2 in the morning.

The dates you are thinking off are relatively more sedate but there will still be loads of action and easy to find if you want.

Within the Cap resort you have to accept that there will be many single guys, they do, after all effectively subsidise the couples particularly in club entry prices.

Accommodation wise you can avoid them at a price in Babylon or Eden but expect to pay 2-300 euro a night in June ( higher in July/August)

For the most part they are unobtrusive and accept politely that a No is a No.

In Port Ambonne and Heliopolis you will need passwords to enter the apartments so you can control who you see plus the walkways in these complexes are not conducive to cruising.

As said before, Port Soleil (and Hotel Eve in the same area) are too far off the main drag (only 5 mins) to be a problem. In fact we like this part of the village and would recommend it for having all the advantages without the negative aspects.

Many clubs and saunas allow singles, alledgedely Les Jules and La Glamour are couple only but to be fair we have rarely played there and have just gone in for a bit of a dance or a late night drink.

La Glamour does host the foam party during the day which is 95% couples and great fun (although we haven’t been, the pool parties in Babylon are supposed to be couple only)

During the day if you want to avoid single guys go to the main beach not the swinger/adult part.

However having said all this the single guys we have met have all been highly respectful, considerate and great fun.

There is an increasing security within the village and it must rank as one of the safest resorts in France, any antisocial behaviour here just wouldn’t be tolerated.

We think that the campsite may be more suitable for your first visit. It's a family site and obviously single guys will be there, but things are pretty much self regulating there. There are security staff around night and day, but not obtrusive.

You certainly don't get groups of single guys wandering around as mentioned above, which can be off putting if you're not used to it. You're right on the beach and close to all the clubs and bars.

We'd agree that singles are almost always polite and respectful and if you make it clear you're not interested, they will leave you alone.

Don't read too much into all this, daytime/evening is not a problem at all with plenty of single ladies walking around, doing normal holiday stuff and absolutely no problems at all.

It's only very late at night that you have to be more aware of unwanted attention, but it's still a very safe environment to be in.

We feel much more relaxed there than we would walking around Agde or Beziers town centre at night.

Just go an enjoy it...!!

"

That’s the strategy we use ..... and some of the accommodation on the campsite is very good.

I want to book Jardin D Eden for the 25th - 29th June I have already booked the flights but can’t find a online choice and do not want an exchange of emails in my email box as my children sometimes access this for work purposes. Any suggestions?

Why not just phone AGN. The number is on the web site and all the staff speak English.

It might be that it's too short a period - most places like 7 night's.( Sat to Sat).

As suggested give them a call.

We love driving down, just make sure you have all the legal things in case you get stopped.

We've used the Caravan Club for many years, been excellent. Not the cheapest but always get good reviews. In our view, it's essential to get the best cover you can, you really don't want to skimp on that...

We love the drive down. Milau Bridge is amazing. We allow 2 nights so we make it a part of the holiday and try and stop in interesting places. Get the book called Beau Villages de France from Vicarious online. Not expensive and has details of the 150 or so designated Beautiful Villages in France. We valve visited half a dozen and they are worth a stop. Also, we tend to have our breaks at the small motorway Aires in the summer as it is very easy to park. The ones with fuel etc are jammed full. We NEVER overnight on the motorway though.

You can sometimes extend cover to European use on your UK breakdown contract. If not try europ assistance.

"Anyone stayed at the oz hotel?"

I suppose that is one way of finding out who the millionaires are on here.

I looked at the price once and I still get light headed just thinking about it.

"Anyone stayed at the oz hotel?"

We've played there a few times with wealthier friends, compared to Hotel Eve, the rooms are only marginally bigger although the beds are comfortable.

Last time there, last Summer they had a couple of bouncers on the door to deter less desirable folk (like us except we were with our friends).

They were having a 'get together' (meet and greet) on the 2nd floor complete with a band. We only passed through to see all these people, very well dressed but looking a bit uncomfortable.

An hour or so later on our way out these same people were just as uncomfortable and the atmosphere was dead but we got some glances from some of them as if to say 'come and rescue us'

A male friend wanted to stay there for one night only last August but was quoted 1700euros.

We told him it was crazy and he ended up crashing at our place, he had a much more sociable and rewarding time with us in the end!

We opened a nationwide flex account. No charges on cards and all the insurance and breakdown cover for England and europe.

We have eaten in there. Ok but nothing special.

Our pal who was staying there left his hand made loafers outside the hammam.

They walked he wasn't best pleased.

Driving down missing all the tolls is all part of our holiday. We come down round via Remes and the stay away from Paris. Some fantastic roads and villages. Camp sites are very reasonable at 10 Euro a night.

We take 2 nights each way and enjoy the best parts of France

we stayed there for three nights two years ago. It's very quiet in there although the roof terrace is a nice place to sunbathe. At night the place is deserted because everyone is out eating and enjoying themselves.

Have to disagree there...!

Be proud, anyone who doesn't want to see a pregnant woman can't have any feelings at all.

And think positively...

Your boobs will be a bit bigger...!!!
