I nabbed this from the local paper which may be of interest.

It is a rather unusual city council that awaits the elected Agathois, this Wednesday evening. Atypical because it is small (only 13 points on the agenda), but in the content, at least two questions will probably feed the debate between the municipal majority and the opposition. They concern the sector of the entry of the naturist village.

In the order of appearance, it is first and foremost the property complex Vibes Resort that comes back in the news. In 2011, the municipality launched a call for projects from developers for the redevelopment of a partially built space, located on the right hand side of the road just before the barrier. It is the company Blue Promotion, associated since with the group Angelotti, which had been chosen for the construction of a hotel residence of 174 rooms, 2715 m² of commercial spaces on the ground floor and a car park in the 1st floor. All crowned with an architectural signature, according to the wishes of the municipality.

The building permit had finally been the subject of several appeals to the administrative court from neighbors, as well as from the syndical union of co-owners of the naturist village, who also owned three lots on this right-of-way. A legal struggle that lasted for many months, before an amicable solution was found, thanks in particular to the in-depth redesign of the project architecture to be endorsed by elected officials.

The City commits to the Nereids project

The other point concerns the unfinished residence Les Nereides, a wart vandalized and squatted, located at the roundabout of Bagnas. For years, following the bankruptcy of the developer, this property complex is abandoned. The networks, the shell and the roofs of the buildings were realized, but not the tracks and the finishes. Multiple legal remedies are in progress, the owners obviously being wronged.

"Therefore, only the municipality, in charge of the general interest and can not lose interest in a situation that it is only likely to unlock, decided to get closer to the project owner who bought, at the helm of TGI de Grasse, part of this property complex, namely commercial premises, three houses and two plots ", is it inscribed in the deliberation.

The city is thus yielding gracefully the tracks and networks and undertakes to complete them for an amount of 576 000 € TTC. "Pre-financing", says the text, since the owners of the thirteen villas of the program will logically have to pay their share to the town hall to be connected to the network. A protocol that will be voted tonight.
