If you use two random words before starting to actually solve words, 18 is the best you can get. To beat 18 you need to solve a word on your second guess. |

I need to change it up. I generally splat 2 down without looking sometimes 3 |

In wordle I only "splat down" one. In Quordle two. I never "splat down" three ! Three would put you on 16 points without solving anything. In that case the best you could get is 24 (4 5 6 7) |

I started with SPRAY. Then I thought about ENVOY as my second word but realised it duplicated Y and V is a poor choice. But instead of pressing delete I mistakenly hit enter ! So a bad start. |

My strategy for Quordle is to start with two words with a good variety of letters before starting to try and solve the hidden words on my third guess.
Even more horrible than Octordle is Sedecordle. I do them both every day, plus Octordle Rescue. |
